It is recommended that helicopter assets from multiple nations be introduced into the mode. Owing to their superior fuel endurance, rotary-wing platforms are uniquely capable of maintaining sustained forward presence, deterrence, and infiltration even within the threat envelope of hostile air defense units, while simultaneously engaging and threatening enemy ground elements. In assessment, helicopters frequently pose a more significant threat to hostile vehicle convoys and forward air defense positions than fixed-wing aircraft. Furthermore, they enable enhanced tactical coordination with fixed-wing sorties—for instance, provoking enemy forward air defense radars into exposure and executing multi-vector attacks… In the absence of helicopter support, the forward air defense environment effectively constitutes a prohibitive marshland for fixed-wing knights.
