Ho-Ri Armor Protection/Visibility

The tank that’s armor is so good it can be frontally penned by multiple tanks in every country almost anywhere in the face, of which many of those tanks capable of killing it sit at 6.7 or lower. But its fine then that the Jagdtiger and Ferdinand which are just counterparts to it sit lower? I mean hell the Jagdtiger can overpressure the ho ri without even penning the armor with its main round not that it should be failing to do so.

Jagdtiger and Ferdi are both super sluggish compared to Ho-Ri Prod which can run like light tanks.

The jagdtiger has almost the same top speeds as the ho ri but a slower acceleration in forward movement, the ferdi accelerates pretty similar with a slower top speed but a reverse speed almost 4 times that of the ho-ri both of these tanks also more armor and penn, with the Jagdtiger pushing almost 300mm of penn on an aphe round, its lower round also overpressures tanks from the amount of explosive filler in it, and both of these tanks sit at the 6.7 BR which see’s far more favorable match ups then the Ho-ri does.

The acceleration is so bad that you’re practically never gonna drive at its full speed. It also makes the tank extremely sluggish while Ho-Ri Prod is super agile, being able to quickly turn around.

It’s a whole lot slower in acceleration, not even close. Reverse is the only upside it has.

Only Jagdtiger has more armour and pen. Ferdi has about the same pen without overpressure and the armour is basically only the same on the superstructure front and that’s only when compared to Ho-Ri Prod’s weakest superstructure front.

With almost twice the reload time while Ho-Ri has less pen yet also have overpressure capability.

The ho-ri doesn’t particularly turn around impressively and these tanks are all kind of in a bad day if you need to turn around as being able to reverse out the situation while keeping your armor forward would be better.

It should also be noted the Ferdinand armor is pretty much entirely equal to the Ho-ri and both of the faces have a trade off with the inner Ho-ri face having more armor but the outer half having less armor.

Both tanks sit at more penn then the Ho-Ri? the Ho-Ri has 205mm of penn the Ferdi sit at just under 240mm and the jagdtiger sits at around 300mm of penn both of which are notably more.

The jagdtiger does have a longer reload time but makes up for that on you know having far more armor and penetration. The Ferdinand on the other hand despite having more penn and similar armor has a reload that starts at the ace crew reload time of the Ho-Ri.

And the kicker here is both of these tanks are almost a whole BR lower than the Ho-Ri and we are arguing about which is better. The fact we can argue this says something about the fact that they might just be counterparts to the ho-ri and should share similiar br’s.

So really you get a tank that is faster than the Ferdinand with similiar armor but less firepower at almost a whole br higher.

Or you get a tank that is faster than the jagdtiger, but far less armored and with massively less penn and a better reload than the jagdtiger at a almost a whole br higher.

Almost sounds like these vehicles are all trade offs of each other and should be at the same br’s.

When hull is visible, the hull cheeks are penetrable from the front which usually deals a decent amount of damage with APHE. Ho-Ri hull cheeks are not penetrable frontally albeit the LFP is, damaging the transmission and forward compartment only.

Proto does, Prod on the other hand has 233 mm with overpressure.

Prod is much more agile than Ferdinand, it only lacks reverse. Firepower wise it’s better due to Overpressure whilst having almost the same pen as long 88.

Jagdtiger is extremely sluggish, it’s its main trade off. It can only really do well as a pure heavy sniper while Ho-Ri Prod can almost run n gun like a light tank with heavy armour.

Ferdi’s superstructure has a slight angle to it, so the whole thing is more like 230mm. Ho-Ri’s is 200mm and completely flat.

A frontal battle between Ho-Ri and JT is a near guaranteed win for JT

Yes, but only on the edges and half of it are covered by the exhaust plates. You can also wiggle it to make it a volumetric hell.

Same with it facing a T28, doesn’t make the T28 better.

Against T28 and T95 you can always shoot the cupolas. JT has… the MG port? I don’t know if Ho-Ri’s shell is small enough to fit through the hole.

Both are unreliable at range.

JT’s MG port is unreliable even up close. T28/95 cupola is relatively easy even from ~800m away, I’ve done that on the first try.

Just shoot the LFP. Though this entire argument is stupid Ho-ri can always choose the position thanks to its insane mobility.

this armorles shit vehicle can NOT damaged with HEATFS nor anything! SHAME ON YOU!
“Itz_Mattew” named player is a cheater who can NOT be damaged in his Ho-Ri and aimbot and wallhack user too!
