Sorry but no, I just came back from a game where I shot it THREE TIMES alternating between the leftmost view port and the righmost viewport and it didn’t die. then his buddy killed me and something died inside me and I closed the game. this is because for some reason all ammo is in the bottom of the vehicle.
How many crew did he have left? Where were the crew?
While yes Ho-Ris are almost impossible to one shot due to the ammo layout, you’d mostly only need 2 shots to kill it with APHE.
They had backlash for the Ha-Go, and now that’s escalated to the Ho-Ri. Gaijin probably thought the backlash would merely be international and minor, but nope, it’s also heavily occurring everywhere, including in Japan.

I didn’t have too much problem with them at UK 6.7. My issue with your proposal is it seems to be based on frustration from bad engagements.
Most of the time people’s frustration pushes them to take bad engagements or trade bad ground for a kill that leaves them exposed. Happens to me plenty, and I think that is what is driving your opinion more than fact. 6.7 heavies don’t need to be facing 8.0 vehicles. The m26e5 being bumped while the tiger 2 got dropped is a good example.
Or the leopard 1a1 being dropped to 8.7 - it has no business facing 7.7 vehicles but because players made emotional decisions and ended up dead it got dropped.
I’ll add that if over all BR decomp happened due to a BR cap increase they could go up to 7.0.
But the german and russian 6.7s being left alone, and even dropped in several cases in the recent br changes is kind of bogus if al the US 6.7s get bumped to 7.0.
If anything the m26 should drop to 6.3 since its only a medium compared to the heavies that just got dropped.
I’d even say the m26e1 or whatever it’s called should go to 6.3. Currently, the only heavy the US has at 6.3 is the jumbo 76 - which requires a fair amount of flanking and pin point accuracy to deal with the same heavies that are now at 6.3
that 90kg hatch is killing my sides… yeah few people will stop to think about it but I can’t remember the last time I saw something that was twelve centimeters thick and was meant to be opened by hand, vertically no less. The japanese crewmen must be quite the powerlifters.

The Ho Ri in the blue prints isn’t even 5.7 worthy imo let alone 6.7…
Blueprints were found but it’s far weaker than the Ho-Ris in game in every sector other than maybe mobility, ranging, and anti air.
That was a rare exception and had to do more with the fact the entire community outside of just Japanese players went after Gajin about it and there double standards especially given the heat they were already getting at the time for double standard of implementing things especially those missiles. But on the whole the Japanese tech tree gets shafted a lot probably more than anyone else at this point pretty much every vehicle above 8.0 has been nerfed in some shape or form, often with little documentation or reason behind it.
I personally don’t care about 8.0, I care about the fact that there is a 1.5k horsepower tank destroyer with a 105 milliliter gun impervious to fire aside from two tiny side panels and a small panel on the center of the glacis shitting up my games as it gets constantly downtiered to 6.7.
still though, that hatch would be ridiculous.
