proof?
It gives me hope that Gaijin are gonna continue with working on naval so that i might become more popular and better. A japanese cruiser would have made me more excited though ;)
The correct draft would be at the line between the black and grey areas of the ship’s external model in-game. It’s hard to determine this from period photos, as we don’t know how loaded that ship was at that moment, or if she’s near a river estuary(there are rivers near many ports IRL) that would affect the salinity of the seawater and therefore affect the overall bouncy of the ship.
You need to look at official plans and drawings for information on draft, but Gaijin’s external models are usually very correct in this. It’s just real laziness on their coders’ part.
At this point I have one question. Do you repair constantly, when even some minor components broekn? Thats the only way Hood can be survive much less than majority of 7.0 ships, where plenty of ships have danger of shell room explosion, and for Alaska has very high chance of bein one-turn kill by any round that has fuze delay higher than 0.03 seconds.
Cool story.
Now show us sources that meet GJN’s criteria, and then show us further sources which prove the 1939 speed was the fastest it ever was.
You can’t be questioning Mag’s research out of all people… He’s responsible for, like, 90% of all the historical bug fixes that have ever happened to ships and boats…
He didn’t mean it is fastest. As ship was become heavier due to modifications and aging, speed got lowered. That’s why her speed got lowered
Then again I’ve seen some people complaining that Hood doesn’t even die to a magazine detonation, and a tech mod comfirming it. So… I really don’t know who to listen to.
Wish I could use wikipedia articles when reporting bugfixes without GJN just laughing
That is NOT from wikipedia if that’s what you’re thinking.
I have no idea who they are, but what is the point of “evidence” when GJN themselves don’t consider it valid when provided by players.
Rules for thee, not for me.
But all the stuff Mag is showing here are from books and stuff that Gaijin do accept… He knows what he’s doing, and that’s how he’s responsible for 90% of all the historical bug fixes that have ever happened to ships and boats, and how he went from being just a normal player like us to becoming a tech mod.
…? we are not talking about crew loss kills? please reread what I wrote you
Wikipedia is extremely unreliable as everyone can edit it. That’s why Gaijin didn’'t use it as source of report.
it wasnt, in 1917 it hit >32 knots, it got fatter since then
Just stop trolling at this point… Mag knows what he’s doing, and that’s how he’s responsible for 90% of all the historical bug fixes that have ever happened to ships and boats, and how he went from being just a normal player like us to becoming a tech mod.
on multiple occasions her engines were able to produce the 120,000+hp that would take her > 30 knots
Than your saying is even more nonsense. Is there any capital ships at 7.0 that has better magazine/shell room layout than Hood except Scharnhorst? If you’re saying of ‘Hood being detonated at 10 km’ I’ve said earlier due to underwater trajectory change since La Royale, every capital ships can be detonated by shells bigger than 8 inch.
If you’re seeing Hood staying at that range and become first to be killed, than it is problem of player using Hood. Hood is extreme brawler like Scharnhorst who become safer as range get close as trajectory cannot reach magazine that lies deep down waterline.
