Can we get a dedicated hmd mode key bind? Can easily add this onto the controls page. Having to cycle between modes is quite repetitive would be nice to just have to click it once. Also while cycling through the modes the first mode will lock a target maybe you didn’t intend on locking. Also had instances where the radar will just not cycle in certain situations and is locked/frozen essentially and you have to turn the radar off and on again.

I was gonna make a similar post but then I saw yours. I totally agree the HMD is 100% more useful than ACM mode and we should not have to cycle through one to get to the other. Since most people prefer HMD and it can outright replace ACM mode they shoud just be two seperate keybinds so that anyone has the freedom to use what they prefer.
Could go even further and have a dedicated keybind for every single radar mode. Probably wouldnt have every single one bound, but being able to instantly swap back to TWS from any mode would be very useful
That too, there are many radars that have too many modes that dont see any use. Since people mainly use PD and TWS. But it could get complicated since you have things like the F4J or F14A for example which only have PD HDN as their best radar mode. So youd have to bind the modes depending on the aircraft you play. But I dont think its such a huge deal at the moment. If they ever do so I hope they make it simple and universal.
I personally never really find myself having to change radar modes mid fight.
What infuriates me is the ACM locking some random thing up as im trying to cycle to HMD.
Yeah, that is annoying, it can also be a pain to swap out of ACM mode in a fight too.
Another suggestion I want to write at some point is being able to select A2A and A2G modes on an aircraft. So depending on mode it would limit available radar modes, cockpit sights and loadouts. Too many times ive been in something like the Typhoon and wanted to swap between AAMs, but had to cycle through PW4s and Brimstones in the process . Very annoying.
