Hit analysis and Air RB

Hit analysis is a fun tool that lets you see what exactly happened when you shot the enemy/when enemy shot you, and can be useful to explain why certain things happened (f.e. G.55’s wingtip getting hit by Mk108 and remaining attached along with aileron).

However, I don’t understand the intended functionality. Hit analysis shows 0-2 hits, with 2 hits being one of mine and one of enemy’s.
In other words, it’s neither consistent nor allows to analyze anything, really, as planes go down after getting hit several times, unless it’s Type 99 Mk2 20mm or MK108 30mm, then it’s 1 shot and wing gone most of the time.
What’s even the point?

EDIT: It also routinely displays wrong kind of ammo.

Interesting feature but useless if you can’t select all the planes you hit. After a 7 kill game, the only available analysis was a single 7.92mm hitting an engine…???

I’m fairly sure it’s because it only saves the killing blow, rather than all hits (atleast in my observations).

It seems kinda useless for air RB, especially at prop tier.

Well, 5 kill game, 1 hit? In many games it saves 0. And I’m blaasing people with MK108 so the killshot is kind of obvious.
