We all know the Pages of History right? (You should) well I propose a radical idea. Historical game modes and battle ratings have been a topic of controversy for a long time, and i think i just found a solution!
What if there was a separate event for the pages of history?

I would certainly play it from time to time. However, i feel that i, like most others, would just use whatever is the overpowered side.
Thats why, same with the tournaments there are spawn restrictions, and unequal team sizes

WW2 historical battles are very unbalanced, or you get german biased, or american biased (against italy or japan)
But from cold war to actual warfare it could be very posible, not so much of a gap
There is an entire community of around ~1000 members that have been doing historic battles in war thunder for like 6 years now
you’d be suprised to find america have the worse of the major 4 partakers in the war that had a tank fleet (so no italy lol)
Britain suffers bc of solid shot but has really good everything else
USSR is, would you believe, very good all round
Germany has some really strong and weak years bc of the way the army was laid out
USSR and USA dominate on most fronts but very easily possible to do as a smaller nation
Inlove playing against the bias, and in some situations the axis will have more tanks, especially japan vs america as the USMc had few tanks in island hopping operations
