I own it, played 9 games with it, don’t intend to play more.
As a fighter, it’s ‘meh’ at best.
If you are dying to them, that’s a you thing.

This can also happen to you with other aircraft when you come up against an opponent against whom you are simply powerless.
At this point, something similar to “teamwork” should normally work. It’s just that the players in the game have unfortunately become used to doing everything on their own and have forgotten “teamwork”.
How often have I seen allied aircraft in GRB preferring to fight ground targets while all hell breaks loose in the sky. Straight with tunnel vision towards the battlefield.
Or ground targets in GRB…
Well it is a jet so the speed makes sense, but it takes ages to accelerate. The airframe is light so the turning ability makes sense, but it also only has 2 7.7mm guns with strictly AP rounds if I’m not mistaken and taking the gun pods to change that will be awful for the airframes handling because it is so light. It just isn’t a good air to air plane, and is pretty middle of the road for 6.3 striking too. I’d rather have have the Skyraider any day of the week at 6.3 over the Strikemaster because it is much more effective overall at being a strike aircraft.
You are correct. It only gets one belt which is pure AP. No AP-I or anything like that
