Cas has led to lots of problems, i agree with that.However it is a crucial part of grb gameplay, which makes the game different to others like WOT. As an Cas enjoyer myself, i’d say costing sp to rearm at the airfield for agms and decreasing sp discount on aircrafts by scouting are some solutions for mitigation, but there will never be balance between ground and air unless they completely remove planes from grb which is barely possible.
CAS is the least crucial part of ground gameplay.
its proven that gaijin is unable to balance CAS properly, so the only viable solution is to remove it or nerf it massively.
but i assume the game is going to remain unplayable because some people bought CAS vehicles so they cant remove them now. for that reason there should simply be a separate actual ground gamemode and everyone will be happy

Exactly. But at this point the snail is making a lot for selling premium jets to those who didn’t intended to play planes but are annoyed by CAS in ground rb. So a ground-only mode is not very likely, unfortunately
Common CAS player will be unhappy, because there will be less ground targets to “entertain” them.

everything about this game would be different if gaijins only objective wasnt money. but no point crying about it, its a business and they found an efficient way to syphon money from above average spenders
its a reasonable compromise to remove fun gameplay if that fun gameplay revolves around shitting on everyone else who isnt in an aircraft, in a ground gamemode no less
That’s why I’m playing always 1 resp and don’t really care about "team wins or loses. Sorry but don’t want to be bombed right in spawn.
Yesterday was playing, trying to use lineup and 50% of deaths was from CAS, it’s just unplayable and pointless to use MBT for 2nd spawn.

Go read the description of said “ground gamemode”.
Last I checked, it’s called GROUND battles, not Combined Arms. By that logic, I should be able to spawn in a Pantsir or another tank and fire at planes or howitzers in Air.

this might come as a surprise but i have played GRB in the past more than once and im aware of the fact that there are aircraft in the gamemode called “Ground battle”

ground only would be such a pain to play, it would devolve into people covered in bushes camping
nah, but it would be extremely boring and would kill the game quickly.
No it won’t. Many people have begged for a ground only mode, plus people will play it to grind. There’s a lot of people here who just want to grind.

nobody would complain if the state of ground battles wasnt so shit and unbalanced. but it is, there are overpowered planes that spam fire-and-forget missiles while all SPAAs are useless, letalone if the AA itself is targeted by missile spam.
but it sounds like you send missiles at ground vehicles for a living so it makes sense you would cry about CAS complaints.
whats killing the game is CAS, not enjoyable gameplay.
CAS is cancer of war thunder and it makes “ground battles” shit to play because when you kill a guy you immediately expect an airstrike. that is anything but “ground”
its called ground battles, everyone wants ground battles, nobody likes being killed by plane monkeys.
whether you want to shit on players with a plane or not is your problem but it doesnt mean everyone loves this gameplay.
