Yeah, with SP costs of CAS going up, CAP should still be an interesting option for some to take out.
Maybe the solution to this problem is in the air and not on the ground.
Reduce the cost of spawning aircraft with only A2A loadout, and let air players kill each other.
It is much more efficient than an SPAA.
Not to mention that vehicles with only A2A loadout are much more competitive for contesting airspace, aircraft with hybrid loadout or only A2G would be at a great disadvantage against air superiority aircraft.
If you can’t defeat them on the ground, fight them in the air.
What if people do not want to fly planes when playing tanks?
I strongly prefer flying planes, but I’m not always in the mood for them. If I was in the mood, I’d go and play the game mode dedicated to flying planes (which is what I do 90% of the time).
I also prefer gunfighter (especially propeller) aircraft to missile thunder, while I enjoy cold war tanks as a concept. Should I also fly missile thunder just to play my tanks?
Also.
What if the person has top tier in nation X air, but top tier in nation Y air because they’re more interested in those nations’ vehicles in that context? For instance, Swedish air and israeli ground.

think this update is also increasing the range of targeting pods on top tier from 20km to 30km so the only real way to counter the planes is taking one ur self but what can you do if you dont have the spawn points
CAS is an issue, not only in high tier but starting around mid tiers. As soon as ppl can spawn the plane you see them in the air. Problem with this, that you loos a match, because no one is on ground except the opponents. The CAP all and you have lost a match which you were clearly in lead.
Airfield camping is a AirSB problem. These days when BR 13-14 is active, you have 4 eurofigters on top killing you on ground as soon as you want to take off. Happened 90% of all matches this weekend.
I went back to BR11.
If all go air after first spawn, the match is likely to be lost.
I understand that so well i mean i used to be tanks players like everyone here, but horde of CAS turn me in to CAP pilot I don’t wanna do it but i don’t want to be free kill for CAS either it just to survive that’s all.
Without CAS SPAA will be useless, there are few who want to stay on the map fishing for CAS, and that’s because I’m not involving the fact that it can be shaken by a missile or guided bomb without it noticing
You just proved that I’m right, and it’s for this argument that Gaijin won’t create an exclusive mode for tanks.
I rather have SPAA useless in TO mode better than i need to keep doing this
Everyday or i become a free kill for CAS i’m stick of it already point of GRB mode is using tanks to gain victory against enemy
Not trying to spawn jet fast as possible to prevent these skill less from killing my team.

Pantsir is very hard to deal with for nato cas
It tajes much more skill to kill a pantsir then him to take u down
Nato cas in on par with ito and flarak when they have the same range and not a broken radar
People want to play tanks, they don’t wanna play SPAA to shoot birds.

2 pantsir toogether can keep the skies clear and safe with no issue
If u dont want to play spaa its on u but alot of ppl do enjoy playing spaa (when there is target to shoot) i think that issue gonna be fixed when the gonna add xp for interception and more spaas to other nation so not just 4 nation can deal with cas and the rest are bad or useless
as i said it almost impossible to add that mode in Gaijin eyes but it can be made more fairly the problem now is CAS is too cheap like 60 percent too cheap most of the time I kills SU-34 most of them get just only two kills or have 3 or 4 scout without any kills before they can jump to SU-34 with KH-38.
