High Explosive Splash Damage Should Be Buffed

Large caliber HE should kill all open topped vehicles in a 25 meter radius and all thin skinned vehicles in a 10 meter radius yet most of the time unless you hit one directly its not gonna die. IRL artillery is the most devestating weapon on the battlefield yet in War Thunder both the deployable kind and the playable kinds are pretty bad. Some other realistic improvements for artillery vehicles could be drones or being able to automaticly zero on a point using the brand new “Designate Target For Weapon Systems” feature. The vehicles who could utilize a system like that are the PzH 2000, 2S19M1 and M2s, K9 Thunder and the M109A7. To properly take advantage of a system like that we could maybe see a spawn 8 km away from the map next to the airfield for protection from CAS.

I can sort of see this as a goal, however I will assume the reason that there is such a low splash damage radius is for balance reasons. Using Proximity shells will be your solution to this. With the other mention for indirect fire, that is a can of worms of itself. How I would imagen it and what will most likely be the best out come is by giving these systems a short range drone like a quadcopter that is able to do the same things of the scout drones on light tanks but with limited range, and they behave universally the same way as they are now. As much as I love artillery and these systems they should never gain the ability to automatically adjust despite the fact if the systems can do so in real life (for the sake of balance)

Well first off thats rude :( Anyways with a exception of the italian Pzh 2000 and the Squadron 2S19M2 all the other vehicles that could theoretically use a system like this are tech tree so a “noob” would have to grind for a couple months before accessing these.
