I hope you already know that aircrafts cannon’s HE shells don’t do anything to wooden parts of aircraft. According to your X-RAY cam in garage they just fly through wood and do nothing. I tested that on wooden wings of Yaks, Mosquito and LaGGs.
This is critical bug affecting gameplay in very serious way, so i believe that you are working very hard now to repair this ASAP :).
Just for your information - i will not post this on bug-report section because you will want me to do a job like a game tester. I will just post this one small screenshot (made today) and i hope that your testers who get paid for that will make one big beautiful report for your devs :).
