Help with TV guided Munitions in SIM

I cannot find any way to re-centre the TV guided targetting camera view using the F5E.

With laser guided munitions i can use the “activate target point” keybinds to put my nose on a target and automatically set the camera to look there.

Normally with guided munitions i can use the “enable/disable target point” binds to set the camera to whatever position my pipper was pointed at, but this is not possible in the F5E for some reason. Similarly, sight stabilisation enable/disable does not work. This means that the camera IMMEDIATELY begins to track whatever your plane is pointed at when you first spawn in it regardless of if you have entered the camera view or selected and/or armed the AGM-65s previously. This means once you arrive at your target the camera is panned all the way to one side and manually dragging the mouse to acquire the target is very time consuming and the amount of zoom makes it very difficult.

Is there any way to re-centre the camera without manually dragging my mouse? (i cannot manually centre it before i get to my target as it will just start auto-tracking whatever is at the centre of the camera anyway because sight stabilisation cannot be turned off for some reason)

This is VERY frustrating

F5e dosent have a targeting pod m8

There isn’t a F-5E TGP.
Just the seekerview from the missile itself

I would try these key binds to see if they could work:
“Disable sight stabilization”
“Weapon lock (air-to-ground)”

There is also the setting “Seeker automatic stabilisation” in the air battle settings menu you could try changing.

They didn’t say it did. they want to be able to re-center the TV-seeker view.

And that is what the player wants to be able to re-center.

Yeah? that’s not a targeting pod, like the AGM-65 TV-version has its own camera seeker that you can view through when aiming even without a targeting pod.

Edit:

i mis-spoke. i meant seeker-view, my bad

tried this already. “disable sight stabilization” bind does absolutely nothing. ill try the “seeker automatic stabilisation” setting though, i didnt see that before

The problem here is this bug here: Community Bug Reporting System

A workaround other than activating the SPI via HUD is the new map marking function, which works very well. But there is no way atm to simply have a seeker or TGP look straight forward atm in Sim.
