I have an extremely annoying problem: I can’t lock onto my Kh-38 MT or any other IR- or TV-guided missile or AGM. I’ve tried everything and I’m really desperate now. Take a look at the photos. The first two show what the lock looks like every time I press the space bar. Only this square □ appears, so if the target moves, the missile will miss. The correct thing would be to get the symbol in the last photo [-□-] but with the Kh 38MT I’m only getting the correct lock in the last photo, below 8km away, whereas I see gameplays on YouTube with guys getting this lock at almost 20km away. SOMEONE HELP ME FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!
TRACK lock is mostly established under 13km away, so be sure you aren’t further away.
You’re to far away, the seeker can only POINT lock at first until you get close enough to get a TRACK lock.
If you turn on the stabilization of the targeting pod you get a range indicator so that you have some sort of estimate of when you will be able to TRACK lock. I don’t think i have ever reliably managed to get a TRACK above 13 km range with any seeker.
