hi!- i’ve noticed that throughout all those recent years there was no hint of a new gamemode for helicopters being worked on,
so…- why dont we find a way to introduce them into air battles too alongside with the planes? im pretty sure we could find a way to make it work depending on the BR’s that could be assigned to them
if not, im listening to new ideas!
its really a shame that helicopters dont get a proper gamemode like every other vehicle type
Soon as someone spawns chinese helo with TY-90’s, bye bye lobby… Those are cancer even on ground games, when lowest when you can see them is 9.3 when uptiered… And to be honest, those things should be starting from 11.7.
Pretty much everything that can face TY-90s has high countermeasure counts, especially those with with BOL rails (and the size doesn’t matter because you’re abusing seeker shutoff)
just because you are used to Helicopters not being able to defend themselves effectively doesn’t make TY-90s OP, L2P.
Helis at lower br that has ty90 doesnt have a turret, and same as other heli missiles, the ty 90 is easily flared in front aspect. (rockets and preflares does wonders)
If you have someone that has the z9 i would advise you to do 1v1 training with him as a plane in customs.

You know that 9.3 is lowest where you can face em, and please, name a plane what has BOL , beetween 9.3 and 12.0 USA, USSR or German plane .
Most common flare count is 60 or even under on those br’s, if you dont include few strikers.
And now, when you need to take chaffs with you, it goes even lower.
And yes, those things usually fly near air spawn , and just smacks that missile from behind, so it doesnt truly matter how “easy” it is to flare from front. If people use em on front, they are using it wrong. From side and rear it is truly menace.
Defend themselves perhaps, but in air battles they’d have to be more passive than most attackers
I don’t think they’d have a fair fight in air battles, they’re better in ground battles
