I’ve been playing simulation battles with VR and Hotas, having a blast with actually realistic immersive missions, using the carriers etc… (instead of pure pvp of air rb)
anyway, I can’t help but think it’d be amazing to have helicopters in air sim battles, they would fit very well, purely for ground attacking and some has the capability to defend themselves as well.
Update wise it wouldn’t really require a lot of work either, they could just add them and they would fit well in

Secondly… you CAN play and fight helicopters in a sim mode. It’s called ground sim and… I kind of hate to be ‘that guy’ … I can see that once again the person calling for this has little to no experience flying helicopters in sim. In your case it’s literally zero. Not a minute.
And only 5 hours in the mode.
Since we’ve established I’m ‘that guy’ and also have 10 days of playing Helicopters in sim (and way more in planes), believe me when i say its a BAD IDEA. See the other threads for my thoughts.
Does anyone want to hear my suggestions for Naval? I have 22m playtime in a Destroyer??

Lastly, if you want to find out why helis in Air sim are a bad idea you should friend me and we’ll squad up and play helicopters in ground sim. Or we can fly planes and kill them all. Everytime. With no problem… although I prefer to fight heli vs heli. I’m always happy to meet another VR + Hotas sim player.
Helis in sim are really fun… you should try it :p
