I don’t understand this. Helis have only ever gotten weaker and weaker, the only ones that have a chance anymore are the earliest ATGM slingers, and those are still instantly murdered by the PGZ or York.

I’m sorry that anything more than a ground target confuses you. Maybe when develop a little more, you can figure out how to play the game and use AA or a plane to shoot down those pesky helis.

People know tools exist, they just refused to use it for several reasons either they find the vehicle boring or some are just ineffective depends on br. It’s normal to see the hate for helicopters since they ruin the fun for tank players.

Helicopters aren’t useless but they role become useless now with better CAS that fire missiles from long distances.
They are totally useless for this spawn price when their effectiveness is pretty the same as first spawn mbt.
I remember when they release helicopters people complain about the helicopter bias.
Yet gaijin is still keeping the RP of them 3 times as normal vehicle…

Maybe its because it is called ground battles and players are encouraged to keep the fight on the ground?
Have you met those really good first-spawn helicopter players that flew high and use the 30mm to pop tanks at an angle where nobody can do anything about it, they survive 3 minutes and disables like half the team only to be shot down by one of the mbt they killed respawn in an SPAA lol

Avg heli needs mountains and buildings at some specific ranges as cover or they would be downed with ease.

nah, given the same situation you in your mbt wouldn’t be able to do anything because they come at an angle where its either in the dead zone of your mg, that’s around 800-1km altitude, you will get your engine popped and turret crews killed, not to mention any stray bullets form the 30mm can disable your mg lol
these players are rare hence i’d say good players.
Dead to any auto cannons for they are too high and too obvious, all those rh202 to bpz57 to 2s38 to 2a42/2a72 carriers to pumas etc etc. All the way to m830a1 from random abrams, autocannons not needed this time.

I have shown zero interest in flying, you will find my past posts mentioning that many times, but at least I’m doing alright with the vehicles I am interested in playing.
Now back to you as a CAS player, have you tried flying high with your first spawn heli and spam the 30mm? as a ground main it gives me tons of troubles as I couldn’t do anything about it, while it may not work everytime of course, I’ve witness players who tried that have some success in it, it just you couldn’t done it successfully doesn’t mean others couldn’t do it bro

Only Kamov has 30mm? what about those with 1200 ammos?
apache don’t have protection and/or survivability, which is the main prob of kamov that leads to avionics; 578e1 has no range and no accuracy, also the 50mm heat pen…
And is on the other side of sovs, aka 2s38 and bmps.
