Helicopter PvE game mode and fire and forget atgms "20km reach" faster than other premium helicopter atgms and tech tree ones

you usually don’t have to research modifications on premiums

True, but it is comparable to the RP-income of a talismaned chopper.

And I do have certainty on this “variable”, here constant. Don’t know if there is any stock grind effect in ground assault, but when I tried, I found the mode rather hectic, to say the least.

Assault is definitely rather hectic since it’s quite different compared to the usual gameplay loop. The only variability for this is if you win or not (which isn’t hard if the team doesn’t consist of lvl 1s), kills or anything don’t matter. That’s why I say that it’s the best way you can choose when playing stock helicopters.

If one is good in ground RB, I’d personally still say that for the general grind it’s better than playing heli PVE with a premium helicopter but if one isn’t, heli PVE is probably the way.

Does assault give crew skill?

should give you the arcade crew XP / RP ratio of 30/1000 but I don’t know for certain

Bring back Heli PvP frfr

Ah yes, the gamemode Gaijin could’t (didn’t want to) balance and was a complete shit fest for anything that wasn’t meta… frfr

They implemented rank-based matching for a reason brother

please enlighten me on how a rank based MM would fix anything in a PVP scenario.

Rank does not represent equals. Anyone who plays helis knows that

Been trying to get new objectives added to heli PvE for years. Trying to spade a stock heli without spending money is nearly impossible and the FnF spammers make it even worse. If you want to enjoy flying helicopters this is NOT the game for it.

You play rank V without paying 3$/€ a month for premium time?

I usually just buy premium time during the sales and stop playing after it runs out

Oh I remember it lol, go for convoy or base and midway get shot from Gods know where, it sucked but now I would gladly try it playing again

In tghat case it is quite managable to spade the choppers. Use your RP boosters, as you can take advantage of the full 30 min in PVE.

It’s not the grind that’s the problem it’s the gameplay itself. It’s just been stagnant for the last few years with zero overhauls. I wouldn’t even care about the grind if helicopters were fun to use.

…and you still only earn peanuts.

Less than peanuts actually depending on heli: With a lot of them you will chase after ground battle events and bases, and never get there on time because all targets are snacked away by helis with superior weapons range.

And there’s not much you can do about it because your BR bracket has you with your 4km SACLOS missiles competing against helis with 16km Fire&Forget missiles…

(Or so I guess it is now - when last I played that mode the 10km Vikhr-carriers were the most profitable helis to fly…)

It’s a bit similar to the Sim EC situation now with the A-10C: One can easily decimate a whole ground battle event on its own in one approach, and if you’re just 5 miles behind it there’s zero targets left for you…

Again, I had no problems grinding modules or other helis. Most trees have helis with strong dumbfire weapons or bombs from the get go. They work fine in heli PVE.

If you need to get a low BR, weak heli spaded, just park it for 30 min. (No big boosters here!)
Once the guys with the boosters drop out, the maps is yours, sometimes for hours.

It’s pretty obvious at this point Gaijin hates players doing anything other than PvP to grind.BVVD saying heli pve "offers enough variety"is a blatent give away.

Nope. Let the helis into the Air sim and give them targets on ground. Its a win-win. Fight against aircraft, more targets, and the aircrafts get soma challanges too.

Helis in Air sim? Worst idea ever, heli players would be bullied beyond anything
