HKP3C, the Italian reserve helicopter and Japanese huey to 7.3. They all are bad and since 6.3 is dead, the could comfortably be safe from 8.7 uptiers
the Italian/japanese are bad apparebtly(I don’t own them but ppl say it’s bad)

AH-1W: Either it gets some zoom + AIM-9Ms or it should go to 10.7 (also a non-brick FM pls)
Superhind: Could be 10.0 like the Tiger HAP, also R-60Ms pls
Z-19: 11.0, 11.3 with AKD-9s is a joke, TY-90s are overblown just because you can’t radar-on brain-off fly directly at Chinese Helicopters like you can with nearly every other Heli
Z-9WA: 10.7
AH-64A: 11.0, no idea why these are higher than the 28N, and no, Hellfires are not .7 BR better than 9M120
AH-56A: 9.7 with TOWS and no RWR is a joke, should be 9.0, 9.3 max
Mi-24V/P: 9.3
Tiger UHT/Shalomhawk/AH-129: 12.0/12.3, these are just RP/SL donations at 13.0
No idea what you can do for the rocket only helis like the AH-1G/Nippon/Spaghetti Huey, you could drop them to 4.0 and they’d still suck because the very needed and fun mechanics of weapons shutting off and the now massive transmission and propeller shaft DM that die to some 5.56 tickling them from 2 miles away.
The Italian one should be 7.0 honestly, its just terrible.
The only people i have seen use, just try and camp the enemy heli spawn, and TBH its not good for much else.
BR decrease won’t help, give it scouting and it will be at least useful in some way.
Wasp and wessex should go to 8.7 or 8.3 (do i really have to explain why?)
Yes they’re crap. But don’t put them at such a low br.
Ideally, give them very low research / modification cost.
And make it an easy grind to the next heli
Lynx AH MK1. Remove Hellfire, drop its BR down to 10.0 ish?
Add Lynx AH Mk7 at 10.7 with Hellfire.
Guys, it’s obvious that all SPAA is overtuned and overpowered. All helicopters from BR 11.7 and below should be moved at least one step down in BR. SPAA was already overpowered from the start, and now it’s even worse.
With the last patch, anyone can spawn cheap SPAA instantly and kill a helicopter almost for free. For every helicopter there are usually 1–2 SPAAs, sometimes even 3–4. That completely breaks CAS gameplay.
So the balance must be done on helicopters: their BR must be lowered.
Right now CAS is not gameplay, it’s just pain. You take off in a helicopter or aircraft only to die immediately, risking everything for maybe one or two kills at best.
I don’t see how this is supposed to be fun or balanced.
They also need to strengthen some damage models.
Things like the Mi-24s known as the “flying tanks” for having a massive arsenal and good survivability, are so brittle in game.
What the hell is the lynx mk7 photos and more I for would be nice.
Idk why I numbered the first one. So 2 exist now
Hu?
But TLDR version. AH1 didnt carry Hellfire. AH7 did. It also gives us a TT heli for 10.0/10.3
What is the point of having it then, might as well use a tank to just skip it.
What is a heli with 14 rockets really gonna do at 7.0, most tanks have DSK/50 cal, arty tanks have proxy rounds, and there is more then enough spaa that can easily kill it.
Btw what makes Lynxes 10.7 and not 11.0 as all the other similar Hellfire carriers?
Compared to something like the AH-1W which gets IRCM, MAWS, LWS & a built in gun. I dont think being 0.3 BR lower is actually that unreasoanble.
Maybe, I would like to see this thing br lowered to 10.7 too then:
It’s straight downgrade to CBT (no AAMs, no flares/chaffs, 12.7 turret). I used to think that they just don’t want to have 8 Hellfires at 10.7, but if it isn’t an issue, there is no reason for that early variant of International prototype to sit at 11.0.
The “flying tank” comes primarily from it being able to resist small arms fire. Most of the stuff shooting at it in War Thunder is NOT small arms fire. If infantry would easily down it with assault rifles you might have a point.
Being hit by a 35mm APHE and co or even a stinger would not be something it would be likely to survive, or remain flying afterward.
The lack of CMs, would imo put that also at 10.7.

I guess 9mm can blow the lung out of the helicopter
It’s actually pretty well known for being pretty much immune to 12.7mm rounds, and even resistant to 20mms all the way up to the cockpit being resistant to 37mms.
So yes, the “flying tank” is extremely weak in game. And things like the AH-1G are extremely strong as they can take many hits.
Lastly, the ircm, exhaust vents and so on barely do anything to prevent stinger hits on the helis. Fim-92s don’t care about any of this, not even flares.
