With the introduction of the LMUR missile for the MI-28MN it is obvious that gaijin is able to implement a proper lofting flight profile for helicopter launched missiles
however despite a bug report accepted over 2 years ago (Community Bug Reporting System) gaijin has still not added this kind of lofting flight trajectory to the AGM-114 Hellfire missiles, and further more in the same update that added the LMUR missile they added the AGM-179 JAGM MR missiles without their proper lofting flight profile.
From what I understand about how missiles flight behavior is programed in game, it is a very simple fix, but in over 2 years it has not been implemented and now gaijin proves that they know how to make an ATGM loft but only apply it to a new russian missile that is currently by far the best helicopter mounted ordinance.
if you look at the datamined missile stats there is a value for what angle above the target a missile should be, and for how steep of an angle it should climb at
of course if they fix it they would have to also fix the hellfire thrust/drag because despite flying a much more direct flight profile, the time to target is the same as the highest lofting flight profile IRL
Crazy they add the same kind of missile to two nations, one gets its missile completely accurate and the other gets a broken one with bugs, how is this not BIAS towards that nation is hilarious and how people ignore or they just benefit from it.
I got hit with 3 JAGM-IR in the ItO 90M and didn’t die, I didn’t even lose 1 crew member.
LMUR seems to 1 shot whatever it hits.
I’m not sure why Gaijin would think that an ATGM can’t 1 shot kill a truck with no armor. I can’t think of a scenario IRL that a JAGM could hit a truck and not destroy it completely 100% of the time.
Pattern I’ve seen is that stuff added to RU seems to work much better day 1 and NATO stuff requires dozens of reports to somewhat work.
Nothing will change, this game is Russian propaganda and the more they’re losing in Ukraine the more they will nerf west and buff Russia in their game. They can’t win a real war so they at least want to win in a video game.
