I’ve been killing lately helicopters with micro drone but I don’t get anything, not even an assist or not even a form of recognition for doing so.
Sometimes the kill is given to the closes plane or so.
When did this change and where can I find the reasoning for changing it?
I mean, sitting in the drone and helping the team seems to not give anything in return. No rewards, no recognition no nothing.

Afaik that was changed way back in drone age due to scout drones acting as kamikadze suiciders agaisnt helicopters, which was not intended by the devs.

I killed 3 helicopters today. Scouting gives 0 points… wtf the devs intended anyway then?

As to discourage it, i imagine because they couldnt make it so the drone and heli dont collide.

Well, I’m not going to sit and reload a drone every time I kill a heli, but it is still fun to troll helicopters :)))
and even to keep them busy.
I’ve killed heli in Squadron Battles so imagine how fun is that :)
A ram rarely ever credits a kill why would or should this be any different

you get the mental satisfaction of cleaning the game of a heli, plus he may get a crew lock from it
