The research points awarded is completely stupid and miniscule. 13 kills in GRB with the AH-1F(CN) and all i get is 7,500 RP. Most were rocket runs practically with stock mobility along with 3 heli on heli kills, and maybe 5 ATGM kills.

Why would it not be? Not like they addressed the issues at any point.
Just check the little box that allows you to research helis with ground vehicles. Speeds up the process a lot, since your tank kills will also count toward the helicopter, instead of just your helicopter kills.
