Why was the Cobra King heavy tank nerfed to 5.7? How am I supposed to play it with only 102 mm of penetration now?
At this point, it feels like the tank might as well be removed from the game. I’ve parked it in the garage and don’t want to play it anymore.
It used to be my favorite tank — I have 8,666 kills, 1,974 deaths, and 2,379 battles with it.
But now? How am I supposed to deal with tanks like the Tiger II with just 102 mm penetration?
Can any developer show how Cobra King is meant to be played in its current state?
Please either return it to BR 5.3 or give it a better gun.
use proper grammar. Also pointing out it has 8666 kills and only 1974 deaths is a pretty compelling argument for 5.7 right???
Also Jumbo was moved up before i started playing the game so youre a little late
You play in Realistic battles, while I play in Arcade. It’s not my fault if some players don’t know how to play and get destroyed quickly — that’s why I have a lot of kills.
So what happens then? If I perform well with other tanks, will they also be moved to a higher BR just because of my results?
For example, I’m also playing with the Pz.Bef.Wg VI P (Tiger P). I have 78 kills and only 7 deaths in 14 battles. So will this tank also be moved to 6.0 next? Great logic.
Why haven’t any Russian tanks been moved at all?
The T-34-85 has high penetration and is difficult to penetrate itself, yet it remains at the same BR.
The KV-1 ZiS has extremely strong armor and still stays in the same position.
Should’ve put the Arcade tag on bud

ok tag it with Arcade then :/
Sidenote: ur stats suggest it’s doing more than fine. a 70% WR is already insane
Thats not a very large data pool, but over 2.3k battles is
even now, the Cobra King still has a pretty good K/D
its not suffering
EDIT: yo change this part

not this part

But how am I supposed to play at BR 5.7? I’m facing Tiger II (H), Tiger II (P), IS-2, T-44, and more… with only 102 mm of penetration.
In Realistic battles, you can flank and shoot the sides — that makes sense. But in Arcade? It’s a completely different situation.
Honestly… it just feels impossible.
I really dont play arcade, but…you can still barrel enemies right? or something?
Yes, you can — but what’s the point? All that’s left is shooting barrels and tracks. With a gun like this, you really can’t do much more.
Even an IS-1 is already difficult to deal with using this kind of weapon, same with the KV tanks… and here it’s even worse…
Barrel → tracks → flank to sides → kill
pretty easy with 5s reload right?
Yes, on paper it might work the way you say, but in reality it’s different. You can shoot the tracks, you can shoot the barrel, but flanking has maybe a 30% chance of actually working.
To be honest, in most matches a large part of the players just sit in one position, so circling around is almost impossible anyway.
And only a small number of players probably even use the Cobra King, so no one really cares that it got moved to 5.7 — because most people are still playing Soviet tanks anyway.
“On paper” is all I can do since I haven’t played arcade in months. So, I’m probably not the most useful fountain of info. I’m sorry but that’s kinda my only help is providing ideas.

Anyway, it still feels like this game is designed in a way that makes Soviet tanks the strongest and the hardest to defeat.
