It was reopened by another manager like a couple minutes later, gotta pray that it’s actually being worked on.
Welp, they closed the Aircraft Guns report with another imaginary fix for good this time.
I guess we have to accept this as a feature since they refuse to read the feedback provided.
New report on aircraft guns inconsistency:

WTF he linked a 2 year old report to justify closing it as a duplicate??? That’s actually crazy.
Yes, and that report he links goes to one only about the ariete guns. It’s also 2 years old and the issues we had 2 years ago have long been fixed.
I don’t know how he justifies shutting it as duplicate when he then links a 2 yr old irelevant report on an old issue that has already been fixed years ago.
They seemingly do not care much about guns or either the tech mod does not want it forwarded for some reason.
I was going to use that as a last resort as i didn’t want to bother him, but luckily some other mod has just accepted it.
I noticed this too with the ostwind mineshot belts. Landing even one shell before used to result in rapid disassembly but right now they seem to be doing very little damage unless you snap a wing spar or detonate a fuel tank.
Well now it seems that same first mod has shut the report again and even removed the other mod’s comment. Why is this still happening, this is actually ridiculous.
Looks like civil war in Gaijin country…
Could not agree more with this statement.
Of course we are aware of that. I strongly believe that in order for the dev to be aware of the report, it has to be forwarded to him first, so that he can read / translate it and look into what’s being addressed.
But when one manager will accept the report and say A, the other manager closes the report and justifies it with B… that’s not a good sign.
Closing the report as duplicate before it was even Accepted / Forwarded makes me think that the DEV didn’t even receive or read the report. They linked a 2 year old report too to justify the duplicate… however the guns were already fixed countless times in that period of time (and broke again as well).
Even if the issue isn’t new, are you not supposed to atleast take a look into it again, since your community is not only telling but clearly showing you proof that there’s an issue?? Isn’t it a better decision than shutting it down entirely?
Why lock the comments and the entire report? If the dev is the one in denial he could also state why he believes that it’s not a problem via the Manager but keep the comments open for a debate atleast?
We cannot exactly assume how things work there, but we are concerned at how the issues are handled regardless. I think the lack of communication, and how they manage it basically sending a valid report to the paper shredder is anything but ideal.
I don’t think that is the case myself, because the reports the mod links are not relevant to this issue and are years old ones that have since been fixed.
If they are aware of it, then why not say this is a known issue that will be fixed like they have done in multiple other reports?
I get what you mean, but even if it’s intentional, that will not stop me from complaining about this matter, it’s a concerning behavior.
I agree it is. But sadly it’s been their modus operandi forever.
It’s actually a good bug imo. It makes 20mm a lot more fair and realistic. It’s kinda dumb for 30mm+ though.
