Not sure about the top speed right now, but it definitely accelerates more quickly
The Strikemaster takes ages to reach a good amount of speed

Yeah. I expect this will be a decent upgrade.
its a hell of a lot faster than a jet provost. but still very slow in accel and handling vs other 7.7 jets, slightly higher top end in level flight tho

There are no open reports for the Hawk T.1A flight model currently.
Shame none of the sources found are concrete enough. even then they arent very significant improvements.
you wouldnt happen to know if there was also an aden 25mm pod for hawk T1 by any chance? would give a better ground belt for gun runs. (30mm is better overall tho)
Sadly it doesn’t seem so. Only the 30mm ADEN pod was available. The Hawk 200 was the only one of the series trailed with the 25mm. At least from the information we currently have.

Significantly. Engine, fuselage, wing. Practically everything.

Speaking of which, is there any movement on Hawk 200 (ZH200) getting the internal 25mm guns it trialled instead of the incorrect 30mm guns it’s currently fitted with?

different series of ardour so a lot less thrust.
totally different cockpit
more limited war loadings too, however still potent if we didnt care about the BR (9L, sea eagle, PGM500)
ive seen promo material suggesting both were mounted with an option to implement the BK27 mauser gun if so wanted.
from gaijin deciding it must be that specific airframe ought to be whatever is confirmable (im hoping its the 30mm as i hate the 25mm personally)

Do you know if the devs or anyone followed up with this regarding the 200 RDA?
Would be great to know whether it would be possible to atleast get an internal gun if it could be proven by those guys.
It was passed on, however im not aware of any progress.
Does it specify 2x 30mm?
As much as I heard, the internal 30mm fit was only for a single gun and only twin gun arrangements were the failed Aden 25mm and the proposed Mauser 27mm
