Yeah, I don’t care about this plane at all, but Gaijin will remain comedically tone-deaf to why premiums are so controversial.
If they were actually tone-deaf, this premium one would be an upgraded Hawk or a unique variant, not just a reskin
Like the 4 pylon thing on the T.1s, Gaijin will say T.2s are unarmed trainers so can’t carry bombs or rockets - They’re not fitted with pylons or gunpods in the RAF - all weapon delivery training is done with virtual munitions simulated by the cockpit systems.
Most you’ll see them carry is AIM-9 acquisition rounds on the wingtips, and a centreline fuel tank.
SAAF Hawk 120, and RAAF Hawk 127 have a demonstrated ability for weapon carriage.
More accurate to say selectively tone-deaf
would be intresting if there was also an aden 25mm pod, the ground belt on it is better for shredding tanks. but the gun is inferior overall

I think the speed will be a decent advantage.
Exactly. It will be replace the strikemaster for me due to the cannon alone. Also, isn’t the hawk faster than the strikemaster?

Yeah, I thought we would get at least one Gnat before this many Hawk and Hawk 200 variants.
