The hawk is too slow and anemic to have good launch envelops on the Mav anyways.
Cvr7 is too plenty to deal with SPAA
i get good launches in A10 and ayit, not really a problem for me

With AV-8C I can fairly consistently hit targets 6-12 km away from 15,000 feet up lol

It takes a bit and you have to be patient.
It’s all about supporting the tanks not trying to get kills.
I use the tank map and CCIP to mark out targets of interest selected by my team. Then you can provide rapid reaction artillery basically.
I use the skyflashes on my hawk in GRB for keeping control of the air against the enemy and also hunt enemy helis down with sidewinders.
Is a fun task usually.
