I think where Gaijin is concerned with Mavericks is that “Maverick = Maverick” and what type they get is entirely based upon balancing decision.

For GRB I plan to use it as a light fighter with limited CAS optional usage. Enemy CAS hunting is a go.
Exactly how I was using the SHAR FA2 with AMRAAM and got silly good results until I decided to have a few drinkies with the boys xD
is it worth doing a GE grind though… I honestly was close to doing it after rage quitting playing high tier uk yesterday and just playing the 326k lol.
That would be interesting if the UK had an 11.0 lineup, you might as well uptier the 11.7 one to 12.0 and get much more useful planes
Didn’t GE it actually, just played the hell outta the 200 and my Talismanned F.3. The update luckily dropped on a week I had off work, so I’ve had the chance to lock in and really grind it out.
I did GE the skyflashes though… Just 9Ls was miserable enough on the 200

Im like 60k into the hawk 200 basic right now… i got the harrier gr1 but its just been grim playing it as of the patch, so many times tked by people wanting to steal kills is unreal.
If the team isn’t full of prems 12.0 was pretty nice

Been really enjoying the Hawk 200 RDA TBH, almost everything I wanted from a 11.3.
Just needs a gun or some extra skyflashes and it’d be perfect. You’re main limiting factor is still speed though, the game is usually decided before you get in. Which can leave the lack of a gun a fairly glaring problem as the enemy team rushes you for an “easy” kill, the Skyflashes can deal with 2 comfortably but after that it takes some luck to get anything with the 9Ls

They are very similar and the RDA really should get a gunpod, but they have some tiny fuselage differences that gaijin insists prevent the gunpod being added

The Skyflashes and radar seem very strong for 11.3, it still looks quite fun

hmmm, BR for BR it doesn’t feel any stronger than the F.3 for example. Yes you have good kit, but the flight performance isn’t there to dictate fights
Yes and no, it’s pretty good at defensively flying and getting the nose around, but looses energy pretty quick and it doesn’t have the weapon’s kit to really do anything in a dog fight.
I believe there was a report that its sustained turning was underperforming a lot, im not sure if that was ever addressed though

Front is very similar to the Marconi/BAE “Atlantic” NAVFLIR pod, but there are also side and downward windows for camera or line scanner payloads
Also a photo of the first production Hawk 203 for Oman being built at Brough
Unfortunately they seem to have stuck a red dust cover in the middle of the defunct Aden 25 bay, so can’t see if they actually put anything in there on production planes.
