Is it intended? This could really help this little bugger to become a turn fighter as it is not subsonic.
Many aircraft have received an automatic flap lock once a certain speed is exceeded (usually the maximum allowed for landing flaps).
This is a bit of an oversimplification.
In some aircraft it’s not possible to use combat flaps, which have a much higher allowable deployment speed. Some aircraft have hydraulics or pneumatics that are too weak to extend the flaps at high speed, while others only have a note in the manual or an indication in the cockpit showing the allowable speed for flap deployment.
