I don’t know if this would be considered cheating or not.
But I tend to watch youtube videos that explain the maps, common pushes, common spot points of snipers and high points of interest, helicopter spawn directions, etc.
I do my best to memorise this, but the sheer number of maps is a lot .
Here i’m wondering if anyone thought of taking the jpeg image of the maps and doodling on it what the videos are resuming but in a tactical way? I would have thought a mod would be available for such a thing.
Something like this
But integrated into the map ?

I don’t believe using your brain is cheating.
It’a funny cause having these maps open on a second monitor would NOT constitute as cheating. However, modding those tactical drawings into the In-Game Minimap would probably count as that, because it would provide an advantage to the noobs of equal skill who have, it as opposed to those who do not, when everything else is considered equal
I thought of doing something like that, but sometimes i like to play on my bed on the laptop .
It’s just that sometimes you get more obscure maps , on maps like Tunisia, it’s fine, that one is quite an older map, or even Berlin, those are find, but some maps are just flank-fests and sniper-galores.
To prevent that, players just need to be more aware of their current location.
Gaijin’s problem lately is that they tend to “adjust” maps to prevent these scenarios, making maps into more confined, narrowly focused battles, which can be detrimental to your team depending on what vehicles/BR you are facing.
You can either overlay them over the game window. You can also make a proxy for the internal game server and just replace the map image.
