Do I need to have fully researched/bought a rank 5 vehicle to be able to get the Maus? Or do I just need to be able to start researching rank 5? I am currently in the process of researching the Leopard I but haven’t finished yet. Is that enough to get the Maus when it comes back or should I grind it out fully?
unlocked to start research of Maus
As the Maus is a rank V vehicle, you have to unlock enough vehicles to access rank V, you don’t need to unlock the entire rank V, just the minimal. Furthermore you don’t need to research the Maus in one go, as long you put a bit of research points it will be available forever until you research it, beyond the anniversary event. For example I have the two first versions of the R2Y2, I’ve put a few hundred research points on the R2Y2 v3 and it still available to research despite the vehicle being removed from research, this is how Maus will work.
