i used to love the f8u-2 but when i was on vacation it feels like it has been nerfed alot. i was able to go mach 1 no problem. but now it struggles even without missiles and the climbrate the acceleration. what happend?
Doubt it was, since there’s no mention of such in the data mines or updates. However it is going to get buffed when they implement the changes for BRs, as they’re going to buff the wing strength during G-overload that exceeds the maximum value on all aircraft.

okay, good to know maybe its just me that is rusty
It’s still good but I’d always prefer the F-8E over the C. ( Mostly because of the engine performance and because it compresses less at mach 1ish speed)
Idk all I’ll tell you is to not roll during high G maneuvers and ur wings are gonna be just fine.
