Has anyone felt the bias yet?

You did not reply with any footage like i asked.

yes I have been locked by both, you are slightly more capable of flaring strela but it is still harder to flare than some ircm missiles such as aim9m or r73

the LAV constantly misses, it is stupidly easy to dodge stingers because gaijin literally said igla can only pull this hard so stingers cant get there IRL pull

Still the main thing is the thing does not have radar and have nothing to redeem beside good AAM .This circle back to the role of SPAA in a GRB battle. Moving up or down one vehicle would not fix it , I would say that moving the Type 81C down to 11.3 or even 11.0 would not make a big different but some people would not be happy, so jap player can’t have anything nice.

Spaa play such a minor role when there are barely any CAS/Heli and yet even when there are CAS/Heli the SPAA are still pretty damn useless , even the Pantsir suffer at time if the CAS player are decent. That not to say Pantsir is bad , read before crying please.

Lol USA mains brought this on themselves

  1. Igla has less g overload… over the stingers…
  2. The lav doesn’t constantly miss lol. Where do you keep magically coming up with that? Are you using it wrong?
  3. Strela is still easier to flare… by a wideeee margin

Are you sure about that

Strela’s missile range is significantly less than that of all SPAA at 10.3.

Wanting Strela to move up only ever means you want to be unkillable to SPAA when flying within a few km of the battlefield.

It’s balanced where it is.

I can’t speak for current Type 81, but when Type 81 was 10.3 I out-ranged it using Q-5L.

Strela is fine where it is. Yes it’s potent against CAS at its BR, but’s it’s an AA, it’s supposed to be lol.

People have gotten too comfortable with AA being useless at high tier, and the moment one offers some actual deterrence, it’s branded ‘op’.

Agreed.
Some people lost the touch when it comes to CAS vs AA gameplay. AAs getting outranged is apparently not an issue.

How those pesky AAs even dare to shoot at us, we must be totally free to defecate on ground targets with impunity. We worked hard for this privilege and even had to make a kill and an assist to do this.

ok, so strela stays where it is, but roland drops to 9.3-9.7 LAV drops to 9.3-9.7, ITO drops to 11.0-11.3, flarakrad to 11.0-11.3 and adats drops to 10.7-11.0

I was comparing the strelas effectiveness to other AA, it is roughly as effective against aircraft as a other AA currently around the 11.0 area

Roland is superior to Strela in every way.
Same warningless launches with a long range on a superior missile.
Strela would have to move down as well as all CAS for that to be balanced.

it is not at all

you clearly have not played roland since the SACLOS nerfs

I’ve tested the Roland 3 missile multiple times since the changes.
It’s still easily controllable while having a long range, unlike the short range of Strela.

Granted, many CAS platforms our-range both, and all CAS platforms out-range Strela.

you will never hit a maneuvering target anywhere close to the strelas max range with rolands as they currently are implemented

the only situation where you can argue roland is better than strela is against drones as contrast lock even lets the strela get resonable lock ranges against helis

it gives a very clear launch warning vs any plane with a reasonable RWR

Hitting maneuvering targets require prediction, something which I’ve done using among the worst missiles in the game.
SACLOS missiles require skill to use effectively, but when used correctly they’re better than all F&F missiles currently in-game.

IR tracking doesn’t ping RWR.
