I just tried 29TDs in test drive on moving AI targets. It seems like the seeker won’t track targets until you’re inside the 6km range, so I guess that’s well within AA range.

US cas is shit, pansier cheat codes intercept just about everything. In a perfect world a f15 will go 1v1 vs one pansier. 90% of the time you fighting 2 pansier one strella and all the uncontested CAS that russia has at any given point on the air.
So NO, US CAS is not a factor. Once you give other nations the same capabilty as pansier to intercept agms with that ease then we can star talking.

Popularity has nothing to do with strength of the tech tree. If that was the case Sweden would’ve been the most popular from day one and still tied with USA right now.

There are no bug reports that list armor thickness, and DU is on Abrams turrets as proven by looking at M1A1 AIM which has lower turret armor.
USA has over Soviets: Light tanks, MBTs, fighters, and equal in CAS.
Soviets are not OP, and the last OP Soviet vehicle was Mig-23MLD which lasted exactly one major update.
T-90M can’t even take 1 Abrams in War Thunder unless there’s a skill disparity.
I am an American with a bias in favor of American vehicles. I’ve never even crewed a Soviet BMP except the squadron one and gave up spading that.
I play all ten tech trees with all ten completed for air, and 6 completed for ground with the other 4 AT LEAST at BR 8.0.
Yes, there are issues with vehicles in War Thunder, yes that includes Abrams; that fact does not mean the vehicles that have issues with them are noncompetitive or in Abrams case non-meta.
From 2019 - 2022 Abrams players were among the most skilled in the game.
Best tanks go to USA, Germany, Sweden. USSR does not have the best tanks. ERA does not over-perform in War Thunder. Abrams has a similarly small profile.
Best helicopters go to Israel, France, and Italy. USSR and USA do not have the best helis.
Best CAS goes to France, USA, Israel, and USSR with everyone else also tied for 1st and 2nd.

Jets are pretty balanced among themselves, I’d make some changes but nothing massive. The real problem was always the disparity between CAS and AAs, which by the next update will get smaller.
Chinese CAS is woeful, I wouldn’t mind for them to get something better as 29TD at top tier is questionable.
