If you have good stats in it: “look, you have good stats so it is clearly op”.
If you have bad stats in it: “look, you cant even do well in an op vehicle. Your opinion doesnt matter”

the vehicle in it of itself is definitely overpowered. however when people use an overpowered vehicle, its easy for them to just go in mindlessly because they think they can beat everything they face, then just put themselves in a bad position. That doesn’t make the 2S38 any less overpowered for its BR.
2S38 vs Puma (Both 10.3)
2S38 has a slightly longer reload (0.5s vs 0.2/0.3s), with 225mm of penetration (compared to 121mm) AND has HE-VT as it is a technically Anti-Air, is Amphibious (kinda irrelevant, but i love amphibious vehicles), has ESS and Entrenchment, has better armour and more survivability, same top speed. The 2S38 is blatantly better than the Puma.

in my experience ive been able to dome Pumas but 2S38s often survive a direct shot, maybe my rounds just hate germans
That might be the case for your rounds. I have one shot the 2s38 98% of the time while the puma eats a round or 2 most times.

its also kinda cool that 2S38 can use APHE w/ more penetration than Puma’s APFSDS, if I ever use the 2S38 I might need to run APHE- such a fun round, even if not optimal

im having a lot of fun w/ 6.7 Japan Ground, I also don’t want to buy it, as I have no interest in the USSR Tree.
-oh and 11.3 GRB, where CAS isn’t overwhelming and I have an excuse to use F-5T and F-4EJ

2S38 is a good vehicle, but it is slow, big, no gun depression and a glass cannon.

I really welcome everybody to try out 2s38.
I’ve gotten tricked by people like you all into buying it, as it was supposed to be “unstoppable OP wonder machine, easy to use, no skill required to play” and got humbled, as it was a first or second “high BR” vehicle i’ve ever got.
Try it out, and you will see your opinions change drastically.
