But Nuh Uh KH38MT is balanced comrade
Yeah, I think there is even a SAL Hellfire that has 10km range if im not mistaken, Even that would help.
AAs have much faster missiles so they can just choose to not fire straight into Kamov, so intercepting them would be near impossible.
trying to shoot down 6 KH with the FlaRakRad is so painful
iirc the 114K is supposed to have a longer range than it does in game
but that doesnt really matter that much because of how slow hellfires are
if FnF is continued to be denied for hellfire only nations. Then every little buff the SAL hellfires could get the better
? even if you fire somewhere other than the kamov it will get MAWs warning and can track the missile with irst to intercept it,
also iirc kamov can guide 2 missiles at once while AA (other than pantsir) can only guide on
Q: In Ground Realistic Battles, top attack aircraft are capable of dominating ground vehicles for the most part. Are there any plans to do something about this in 2025?
A: According to our data, the balance at the top ranks of ground battles is noticeably shifted towards aviation and helicopters, and this balance has become even worse with the introduction of top aircraft this year. The situation where aircraft can attack tanks from a safe distance with impunity makes gameplay more boring for aviation and less fair for ground vehicles, a similar situation is with helicopters equipped with long-range fast ATGMs, or “fire-and-forget” ATGMs.
The balance is skewed towards aviation, so we will add more “shoot and forget” type missiles for aviation.
On some maps they’re nigh invulnerable from the ground.
Kamovs at least need to guide the missile to the target and do it one at a time.
at least you can lock them from a distance and with third person radar, in ADATS ive never locked a KH from more than 3-4km and need to lock from the sight because devs decided it cant que targets from radar to IRST despite documentation saying it can
yes but they can intercept incoming missiles where other helis cant, which provides a significant degree of protection that other non fire and forget helis lack
But… it takes about half the time for Vikhrs to travel 10km than it does for hellfire to travel 8km. Yes they need to keep themselves exposed, but for less time
Doing all that in just a few seconds it takes the missile to reach you doesn’t seem reliable.
Only if they were launched in a short time frame.
I’m not arguing about Hellfire helicopters being good.
I’m just saying Kamov is far from being as good as it once was and that many nations’ helicopters caught up with it.
if you are a decent heli pilot you would know where all the AAs are and firing 2 vikhrs means first intercepts AA missile while second can continue to kill AA unless they can launch again in the few seconds they have before it hits
Can only lock them if they are heading straight on towards you though, any other way its GG, especially with only 2 missiles and no cannons
again at least you can lock them and have a chance of shooting the one aimed at you
yeah i guess
Eh… I’ve heard of so many issues with the IR guidance of the FnFs from loosing lock and the Spikes doing bugger all damage because they always hit centre of mass (plus the amount of ERA) that its largely irrelevant. Helis are fairly universally weak, but the combo of never having to see Pantsirs, one of the more tanky airframes and only of the best helis launched AGMs at the moment, I think they are still solidly number 1 still. At least its still the soviet helis that I see spawned in the most.
Then don’t come crying when other nations get their toys. That is just pathetic.
