lol If you think Soviet top BR is easy, go try USA, Sweden, or Germany.
Ka-52 and Apache are pointless spawns.
Pantsir is bad against current CAS due to weapons over-performing and Pantsir’s limited range against non-drone & non-helicopter targets.
And IR AGM CAS is too high of a BR and too high of spawn cost compared to more MBTs which allow Germany and Sweden to just be flat out better despite not having great CAS options, and USA having OP CAS is an option… or you can just replace the CAS options with 2x more meta MBTs.
not really. vihkirs are very fast and fly straight and can just ignore smokes. If your first missile didnt killed the enemy, you can launch another and f*ck the smokes lol Apache is very effective too since it has IOG. Which means you can launch a bunch of missiles at a specific direction and only show up pointing the laser to the target when its close to hit. (apache gameplay is very satisfactory)
wdym, bellow 13km you are pretty much dead if you are not supersonic, maneuvering and flying perpendicular. It can also intercept lot of launched munitions at the same time (like 3 mavericks at the same time) and its effective since AGMs are not as maneuvrable as a fighter.
Germany is strong, but ok. Sweden i agree, its a very strong nation. Probably the creator of this game fall in low with a sweden girl thats why its so strong since the introduction.
Ah, it’s AlvisWisla, telling us once again how Russias suffers. Despite having the best SPAA by leagues, some of the best CAS. The best Air to Ground missiles, etc.
So when someone mentions the Soviets, your first instinct is to make the claim that players playing the Soviet tech tree are more skilled…
Skill has nothing to do with tanks being good or not, or tanks being superior or inferior to others.
@Perinvisus
By all means prove that “Russia” suffers if you’re going to claim that my stance is wrong… Russia’s not a tech tree to begin with; and the Soviet tech tree does not suffer [my stance], a statement I’ve made since the beginning of the game.
His claim is that all soviet players just happen to be magically more skilled. Tens of thousands of players, enough to a point where any personal skill shouldn’t matter to get roughly the same averages. He basically knows he’s lying, he just doesn’t care.
It’s funny how the War Thunder subreddit has zero complaints about DMCA’d War Thunder content… cause the only DMCA’d War Thunder content are cheaters uploading their cheat adverts.
Russian doctrine fits the average mentality of “not one step back” found in Pubs. The reason it is so good is because Russians were like, “what if we just made brawlers instead of snipers” and did what everyone else in War Thunder does: drive forward and shoot anything that resembles a vehicle. It’s not because Russian tanks are OP, it’s just that no other tank in the game fits that mentality.
Leopards and Challys, you snipe with.
Abrams and Merkavas, you support with.
Types, Arietes, and Chinese tanks you flank with.
Russians you brawl.
Simple understanding of doctrine makes your game so much easier.
Flank with that thing?
nah they just speed of average Leopard it can but not fast enough to be considering as flanker
more like long range sniper (when it said long i mean it)
I’ve messed with it in Customs, it’s not too bad of a flanker, but you’re right. It really doesn’t do anything right. It basically relies on sniping or flanking because the second it is looked at… well, you’re respawninh.
I brawl with all tanks, and Soviet tanks are actually worse to brawl with.
Brawling requires reload, ammo, and mobility…
Sniping is long-range brawling, which relies more on armor than close range brawling does.
What else does it do if not bonk tanks? Maybe our definition of bonk is just different but it literally oneshots every tank in its br range (didnt try on the most heavily roof armored top tier tanks) with a hit to the cupola. every 4 seconds. and the more lighly armored stuff basically with hits to the turret face and light tanks almost anywhere. It’s got pneumatic suspension so it also is one of the only russian vehicles that can make peeking hills work, you got amazing one-shot-kill everything barrel launched atgms (with the downside of insane reload, but u can just switch to the he) and for light tanks, sideshots or track and barrel torture u got the 30 mil all of that with good mobility. It’s one of the most versatile light tanks in game. Its even got gen2 (or 3???) thermals coupled with engine smoke while not a lot of other tanks in that br range have any thermals.
Sit tank down behind a hill undetected on a lot of maps if u know where enemies will show up to control sightlines, switch to secondary gun (the 100 mil with he loaded) rangefind his cupola or turret face depending on target, or his tracks first to make him sit still (preferably from commander binos) and start bonking. Try it, its an actual fun and very different playstyle and in a lot of situations actually very effective. And that doesnt mean the bmp-3 doesnt work in other situations. It’s very good (certainly in some situations facing certain enemies you’ll be in trouble but that counts for every vehicle), you can deny that as much as you want a lot of good players will still use it to great effect. And dont get me started on the BMD-4 variants. would you say those are also not good then i got news for you. I mean they are better, sure, but they are insane. BMP-3 is just a lot slower but still very good
The fact that maybe in esports matches with 5 ppl per team and everyone knows where everyone is and its way less chaotic it wont be very good doesnt count since in every public ground rb match about at least 50% of players are unaware.
