Great but why cap is marginally cheaper than cas. If sane person did the balancing cap would be much cheaper to actually use cap not cas. But nah fk balance
More than 700 points (cheaper by ~150-200 than cas) for cap with ARH missiles to counter cas but w8 for 700 points u should get a fkn cas slayer right? Lmao
Yet u have to keep in mind that u are in s1 range ALL THE FKN TIME that spawned for 90 points
No one goes for cap
- It quickly gets boring if there are no planes
- People will choose cas cuz why take cap when i can strike ground targets. 200 sp difference is nothing. Not to mention scout reduction

CAS being effortless is why there is no CAS in any of my 6 top lineups.
I learned how to play CAS, played it for 2 years, and got bored cause I never unintentionally died to SPAA.
I’m still upset that people only found out CAS is OP the moment USSR became OP, but not the year+ NATO was OP before them.
The Soviets live rent free in the minds of nation mains.

Soviets are currently suffering without good SPAA.
Unless Hammer and Kh-38MT guidance is nerfed, SPYDER equivalent SPAA is needed to match them.

But yea lets say that all cas is EQUALLY abusive when u barely have any battles played in any cas other than abusive one (rafale). Not all cas is equal. One is completely fine in terms of fun-difficulty (smth like a10 imo) level other is straight up bs that doesnt need any skill to use (kh38 slingers. Hammer too but it gets easily countered by s1. Hell even ir spaa can shoot down hammer)
Pantsir S2 or the other one is what I expect for SPYDER equivalent.
I’ve literally played OP CAS for 2 years straight and quit cause I never died to SPAA while doing CAS runs.

Can u say what cas it was?
Before Pantsir and before Pantsir’s late 2024 buff: Tornado IDS ASSTA, Mirage 2000D R1, 20005F, F-16C, F-14B, Harrier GR7, Mig-27K, Gripen… off the top of my head well into mid 2024.
Post buff I used the F-16C primarily as it was me trying to get the 20km bomb achievement with GPS guided bombs, and Su-34 at least once. I didn’t know the Pantsir was buffed until after I retired CAS from random battles though.
In custom battles I’ve used Rafale, Su-34, and F-15E to learn tactics people were talking about and see how OP they are, as determining OP with proof is easily done via cross analysis and custom battles.
Also learning Pantsir changes in custom battles as to keep ahead of knowledge so I can help people struggling with CAS if they need help.
Citing CAP as a necessity is admitting they’re OP and only proves the claim of them being OP correct.
After getting the 20km achievement I retired CAS over learning opportunity was drained, spawn point nerfs made spawning more tanks objectively better for the team, and BR nerfs made having CAS an objective negative.
Oh, and when I say if you’ve played one laser GBU platform you’ve played them all, that is just a purely correct statement. It’s a rather boring 15km launch playstyle that’s universal among all GBU carriers, and sadly only works on maneuverable platforms like F-16 now; and if you have F-16 you might as well use AGM-65Ds from directly above instead.
And unless you’re bringing glide bombs, the F-16C playstyle is identical to the F-15E, glide bombs is the real useful aid for F-15E though, especially with more than 1 CAS up on your team at a time.
You grab a lineup of USA, France, and USSR. The F-15E dazzles any SPAA period, then the 4 of you clean up even within 12km.
