Its just something i noticed immediately after downloading that lighting in general just looked alot better now without using raytracing and gaijin didnt mention it at all in the changelogs

shadows seem a lot better i agree.
my main thing is that anti aliasing is now so much clearer and sharper. I can actually see tanks (when the game remembers to render them)
overall very nice

Tbh idk I’ve been grinding Air for USA so I have yet to play ground really the last day or 2 but with all the changes at 6.7 its just unplayable for me, I used to average 1-6 but now I’m lucky to get 3 kills cuz the ranges are dog sheiße so u cant use the tigers, But yet aein it easily could just be a ginormous skill issue on my end, That and the tiger 2p spam dont help now, but idk
If it wasnt for the Cowellian buffs id be clubbing them in my centurion mk2 as we speak. I dare not face that things wrath
I did notice how AMAZING the Eastern European map looks now. I think this is now my favorite updated map graphics wise. The tree areas look incredible.
This is with ZERO Ray Tracing enabled, 3090ti, custom settings from the Nvidia App (fairly high, but just low enough for it to disable all the Ray Tracing, for higher FPS).
Hang on, I had a match that was evening/dusk, and the shadowing was incredible. Going to update in a few mins.

Sudden performace drops have forced me to play in ULQ unfortunately. It’s strange because I could handle running the game in max settings, but now it just keeps constantly stuttering and randomly freezing even in ULQ.
So for my part, not really, I haven’t be able to check them out.

Fwiw, if you would like to post your experiences AND if you do please post your hardware specs in this “main” thread about the current performance issues. Hopefully more info can help the Devs pin down where the issue is:

Yo, play a couple of games and your performance will be back to normal. Happens after every major patch.

Yep same thing on my end for the first day of playing my performance was pretty bad but now its back up to normal
what I noticed is that my 5080 went from 80w consumption to 130w with same settings !!!
