Harriers major lift problem that gaijin wont fix

Note how increasing the weight of the plane decreases the available G at a given nW value.

Ohh boy really?

It’s almost like that’s how it works and that’s what the chart shows.

Now tell me on the 17,000 lbs line how much G can you get with 89,000 lbs lift.

Common you like to act smart.

(5.1-5.2G at 12 degrees AOA at 400 knots)

Now on the contrary how heavy would the harrier have to be to pull the G seen in your chart at 12 degrees AOA based on the ODM manual.

Your 1 invalid plot suggests 12 degrees AOA will make 4.1 G at 400 knots.

The ODM manual suggests that a harrier 1 at 21,000lbs would have the same 4.1 G at 12 degrees AOA.

Obviously it should pull better than a Typhoon because you say so and are stringing 3 different manuals to arrive to that conclusion.

No it’s 1 manual. The operating data manual and the release to service handling and performance manual are part of the same entry to service documentation process.

They are meant to be used together…

Also no need to act the fool even if they correct its lift to irl the harrier still has high wing loading.

It will still always pull less G at a given speed compared to “proper fighters” (F-5E gets 7G at 340 ish harrier 1 needs 420 ish to get the same 7G)

The fix will however make it considerably better.

The Harrier out rates everything didn’t you know

Certainly out rates the F-5E

Just has much less instantaneous G. At least in conventional wing-borne flight.

If they corrected lift to the AV-8 manual it would be even worse. Devs already showed that it is correct within game tolerances.

It seems to me that you are hallucinating AoA values again or just not reading the full manual. This seems to happen quite frequently in your case; i.e Su-27 manual, F-15 manual and F-16 manual. And F-18 NASA document.

Not really mate you’re just doing a weird cope parade about a plane you don’t even play.

You seem to be hallucinating them away

Aww yes. That is why the upgraded version has turn rate figures comparable to a Tornado. The older version was too good and they gave it a new wing to give everyone else a fair chance in a dogfight.

We Brit’s make charts using buffet onset. This is the chart they are using.

The above chart is British.

So is yours lol.

That is what I said.
It seems redundant to go “nuh uh this is the real BRITISH chart” when they are both the same.

15 degrees per second initial turn rate at sea level is pretty abysmal. Which shouldn’t be surprising considering the Harriers design emphasis.

15 degrees per second is its buffet onset turn rate.

If you remember from your silly report.

It’s this, this is for a 21,000 lbs harrier so 1,000lbs less but that 1000 lbs will not reduce it by that much. (Approximately .4G reduction)

This is also for 65% LERX same as Gr.5 (100% LERX is considerably better)

Yes. The plane in game overperforms against this chart as well. Which is consistent with what developer response was that you refused to read.

It underperforms but you refuse to understand that pylon drag exists.

Should be sustaining 5G at 84% throttle at full internal fuel .8 Mach.

Just playing the harrier in game is enough to know this fat wobbly bus cant be close to real world.

Said to be able to beat F5s… in war thunder loses to hunter.

The real Gr.3 could start with a lightning behind it at 15,000 feet altitude and win or tie more times then it lost while having 2 drop tanks and 2 missiles with full internal fuel.

All while using 85% in game throttle
