another year lets add to this rn the gr1 needs flares. the plane literally has the system in the cockpit model. give us flares
SRAAMs are now decent. Whilst technical compatibility means that the AV-8A/Ss flare pod would be on the table. I think Id prefer a decompression where the harrier can fully exploit the potential of SRAAMs over flares and a higher relative BR.

AV-8A has same cockpit but without RWR iirc
They are acting illogically lazy when they need to do something about harrier
While I agree, flares would be better than nothing. It would be perfectly fine if it was like, 9.3, or even better, if the competition moved up by 1 step.
it is a flying boat. the thing cant manuver. has a sustained turn time of 34s. and cant juke or dodge missles unless they are the early versions that are fairly unmanuverable themselves. it doesnt/cant handle a br increase without buffing it substantially considering it already regularly sees 10.7 or 10.3 br matches which get early radar guided missles on some jets and missles such as aim-9j,d,&es and R-60m&es which are substantially more manuverable than the harrier with some missles have all aspect lock, and the harrier gr.1 doesnt get countermeasures to assist it.
honest. im so tired of seeing decent, manuverable jets with that early radar missile or even the early all acpects
