I start the discussion with the possibility of Indonesia’s H145M arriving at Japan’s tree with 8x Spike ER2, recently Indonesia ordered 4x H145M for its air force!
well, I think it could happen, let’s remember that a German h145m has been forgotten in the files for, I think, 3 years?
@Dontkev-psn has been waiting for this for a while
thats, just an rumor /s
Over 4 years, actually.
Are Indonesia actually buying H145s with SPIKEs or any kind of armament?
From what I’ve read, they are to be training and support helicopters in the same capacity that the US military and UK operate H145, not combat helicopters
Community manager has said Gaijin don’t consider adding armed helicopters to trees purely on the basis that the airframe is operated by a nation, or if they don’t carry ATGMs in service with that nation. For example, Britain doesn’t appear to have operated missile-armed Gazelle like France or China have, so gaijin declined adding a British Gazelle.
Closest to an armed H145 would probably be the Thai EC645 T2 (H145M), but while it was presented with weapon options I’m not sure if any are actually used by Thailand
We’re buying 4 for Heli Training and SAR missions, not for combat
"As quoted by Zonajakarta.com from the Antara edition of September 18, 2024, PTDI President Director Gita Amperiawan in Badung Regency, Bali, on Wednesday, said they would manage the reassembly and installation of mission equipment and other customization work to be finally handed over to the Indonesian Air Force.
“Through this close collaboration, PTDI will not only support the delivery of the H145 helicopters but will also enhance our capabilities in terms of integration and assembly at the facility,” he said.
The state-owned aircraft manufacturer will assemble the five-blade version of the Airbus H145 helicopter, a multi-mission helicopter that will be used for military training and light search and rescue missions."
Besides if it were for combat it wouldve been sent to the Army, rather than the Air Force
