What are your thoughts on adding gunships to the air line or making it like nukes or drones and getting sp?
just an idea
a gunship like the ac130 would be free food at any BR it could be added at. could splatter them in a reserve biplane easily
you could splatter a heli easily enough, but yeah, gunships would be nothing but a giant fat target, especially for a 2S38. It would be cool for a Ground EC battle, though, being able to deploy tanks in a LAPES style
a heli can shoot back much easier from turning around. cant do that in a Hercules. would be cool but would suck to play
I’d like to see the original spooky, but same with the old C-47 skytrain… Add it, it doesn’t need to be armed.
tbf it has 20mm cannons mounted on its side, as well as a speed about 3x that of a reserve plane. Outran/torn to pieces. but yeah wouldn’t wanna play it either
I mean like the arcade battles, it has a timer, and also i real life the ac130s howitser has a 10k range
Only in its own game mode or maybe it could play in the Helicopter PVE?
Hmmm maybe as an in game prize that u can activate after a certain amount of points and control it as you would a drone

Gunships would only be playable in scenario type game modes were 1 team plays an insurgent force versus a conventional one where the insurgent force gets a numbers advantage and/or defenders advantage which we saw in the SEAD event with defending being way easier than attacking.
Gunships are cool as hell, but pretty much only exist to bully 3rd worlders that can’t realistically fight back. Useless in peer vs peer combat.
