Guns of the Korean War Era

So since Gaijin has officially revealed infantry mode, and stated that we are going to be starting off with the Korean War era, i think it would be a good idea to list out what weapons both the US and Russia used during this timeframe to lay a groundwork for what is to come. Ill start off with some American equipment as i know it a little bit more than i know Russian stuff

M1 Garand.

1911

M1918A2 BAR

M2 Carbine

M1903A4

M3A1 Grease Gun

M1919A4 Browning

M2 browning

Winchester 1897

If there are more guns you wanna mention go right ahead and list them

UK:
L1A1 SLR (Ok, I know it entered a year after the korean war ended but cmon! It’s only 1 year out!

L1A2

Browning Hi-Power

Bren L4

Lee Enfield No. 4 Mk1*(T)

Sterling SMG

EM-2 (It was actually adopted in 1951 so technically the timelines match up!)

Another question is what kind of anti tank weapons will we see?

US:

M1 Bazooka

M9 Bazooka

M20 Super Bazooka

Ussr:

RPG-2

PIAT

Turns out lots of people used the Bazooka & Super Bazooka, including the UK. Also, rifle grenades.

EDIT: And if we get swedish infantry, they get the carl gustav.

ngl, i could see the EM-2 being an event weapon mostly due to its very limited service, and the L1A1 could pretty easily be a at the moment top tier weapon for UK

The Korean War didn’t really see many man portable anti tank rocket launchers. Seems like rifle grenades should/will make an appearance.

Thankfully its the Korean War Era from what Gaijin has said, not exclusively stuff used in the Korean War so there is a bunch of room

The focus would mainly be stuff that was adopted and in use then, so likely wont see stuff like the AR-10 right away even if it was tested by the US Army around that time

But if the AR-10 were to come, probably be an at the moment top tier gun alongside the M14

Eh, maybe, but if we’re allowing 50’s guns then that opens the possibility of this.

The AKM.

Yeah definetly would be addable
