Guided Weapons Cost Is Unbalanced Compared to KH-38MT

This can only be some kind of joke. With the recent change, cost multipliers were introduced according to the type of guided weapon used, such as TV-guided or electro-optical bombs and missiles. In principle, this is acceptable, as it serves to limit CAS.

The problem is that all guided weapons that are clearly inferior to the KH-38MT now have an equal or even higher cost. My complaint is not limited to the SPICE bomb, but includes all guided weapons. The SPICE, the AGM-65G, and other similar munitions have a cost comparable to the KH-38MT, despite having significantly inferior performance.

To perform CAS with these weapons when there is anti-air on the enemy team — especially now, with players using AA even without having it fully researched — it is necessary to play with extreme caution. Most of these weapons are slow, have no propulsion, and require approaching the target, which makes the aircraft highly vulnerable to systems such as IRIS-T and BUK. This situation was further worsened after the IRIS-T SLM improvement, whose infrared seeker range

In contrast, the KH-38MT allows the player to fire all munitions right at the beginning of the match, return to base to rearm, and still eliminate a large portion of ground targets. It is the fastest and most efficient CAS weapon in the game, costing only 946 points, which is completely disproportionate when comp

It is clear that this system benefits almost exclusively the Russian side. In a properly balanced scenario, the KH-38MT should be the most expensive guided weapon in the game, not one of the cheapest among the most effective. Personally, I would much rather use 6 KH-38MT than 16 SPICE 250, which clearly demonstrates

This situation needs to be urgently reviewed. The current state of the game shows that it is becoming increasingly difficult to play against Russia, as many players choose that side precisely because of these advantages. Additionally, I took about 4 minutes to find a match while playing on the Russian side just to check the cost of the KH-38 bombs, which already highlights the impact of this imbalance on matc

To be fair i think this is nothing new. In CAS terms nothing has ever come close to the KH38’s for aircraft. Before they were introduced mavericks were effective, but now the only way to properly use them on stuff other than light vehicles, at least imo, is top down and half the aircraft that use them thats just not an option due to the AA options available.

LEMR’s being next with them being the only fnf missiles from helis that seem to have working flight performance as well (actual lofting and coming top down). Personally with this change, alongside bmpt and (at least from what ive felt in ARB) a buff to the r77-1 its just becoming a big mess of boosting Russian lineups.

We said the same thing when they changed the cost of all IR AGMs when only one (KH38MT) was vastly outperforming every other option.

Russian Mains will come in here and tell you that if the AGM is so good, why is their winrate so slow etc

Gaijin doesn’t care about your feedback.

Waiting for tons of CAS sufferers and Russian KH38 users come to laugh

Nobody will care what exactly the difference is between KH38 and IR bombs, they just want nerf all the CAS over and over again to cover how skillless they are to use spaa, and try to stop other nations players have the same experience.

I mean, not a first time. We already have this issue in game where 3 agm65a have same price as agm65b or 2-6 kh29te just because its tv guidance. Other parameters seem to be not so interesting for gaijin

IR guided weapons should not increase by 30%, at least not more than 10%

I don’t understand why they changed something no one asked for, especially now, in the middle of the event, just to make things harder. It’s practically impossible to call in the Gripen E with Spice bombs, not to mention that the IRIS-T SLM is way too strong. Right now, I can only do CAS using the KH-38MT. I worked so hard to unlock the Gripen E, only to be forced to play as Russia again. This change really discouraged me.

Instead of balancing each ammo separately, those lazy, who don’t even play their own game just throw everything into one pot and call it “balance”…

Yeah it’s quite odd that 4x AGM-65D are the same SP cost as 6x Kh-38MT

The same request was deleted by Gaijin two days ago, haha, not at all new.
