It doesn’t have G limiter at all. It’s not FBW like the F/A-18. It has DFCS, which increases its maneuverability and stability, but doesn’t limit the aircraft.

Not at all. It only means that suggestion moderator or someone in charge of suggestions approved said suggestion. It has nothing to do with devs having or not having interest. Its a bit of a lottery anyway

Now that the F/A-18 Legacy Hornets have been added to the game, Gaijin will have to choose between adding this F-14D or F/A-18E Super Hornet to further expand the top-tier naval aircraft line in future updates this year.
Since the F/A-18C Early has been added as a premium, I don’t think the F-14D will be added as another naval aircraft premium, as the F-14D functions similarly to the F/A-18C. Therefore, it has two potential options for addition: either as a tech tree researchable aircraft or as a squadron vehicle. I can definitely see it being added in one of these options.

The F-14 can’t use the LAU-127. Perhaps it could have simply been fitted as a test, but nothing more.
And what source tells you that it can’t use the lau127?
NAVEDTRA 14313, page 3-20.
The LAU-127 is also available for the AIM-9, but it states that it can only be used on the F/A-18.

The hype around it isn’t super high, not like when the A was added. The D would be overshadowed by other aircraft that are coming at the same time

I mean I could say the B was overshadowed too, not many were excited for it even if it was stealthly revealed in an eSports something poster
I was thinking of mentioning the B but it was a main addition for top tier US that update
I mean, it was the only top tier added in the La Royale update to the US but it was overshadowed by even the boats for France

I don’t really care about the Tomcats much tbh but like I said the F14D will be overshadowed and noone cares about the F14 anymore except when balancing needs to happen

New APG-71 radar: (AWG-9 but with modern upgrades like universal datalink, all aspect PD, notch rejection, RAM modes, etc… | a very capable radar and would be the best radar the Americans get until the later AESAs)

New Weapons: Aim-9M/X, Aim-7P, Aim-54C+ ECCM, Aim-120A/B, GPS guided LGBs, possibly HARMs, possibly LJDAM
New DFCS: A new digital flight control system that increases stability, AoA, and overall manuverability.
There’s some other things, but those are the main ones.

I mean I care enough to bring it to 14.0
I feel it has a personality tbh, and having irst and the best US radar till the F22 on the F14D makes it worth it more than just for the airframe
Technically even the B could carry the 9M, but we’ll see if it gets added after it was forwarded finally

Fair but the EFT, Rafale, Su 30 are here now and even more dominate in BVR and WVR than the F14D, it only outdoes them in missile launch range
