I’m prepared. One the F-14D comes out I’ll grind that and never play the game again if it doesn’t get 120s. Maybe a custom game now and again…

R27EA was never made as far as i know so it cant be added
indeed. IDK why mikey added it, only r-27a was m,ade.
altho argument could be made for r-27ea was possible because of interchangable parts.

I think the f-14D will for sure get araams aim120A but can’t say the same for the aim120B or the aim120c although they did enter service in 1994/1996 but the radars needed updates to use aim120b/c I haven’t found anything about the f14 testing them so once again probably not. also I do think it’ll probably get first gen aim9x or aim9m with aim9x technology (don’t remember how it went for the aim9x/aim9m)

Swap F-14D with F-15C late, and it would be real peak (2 seperate Navy airframes in one update is asking for a bit much no?)

Well updates normally have theming. The first 3 would be for a naval update (probably like a J-16 too or whatever naval flankers China has) and the last 4 would be the December patch. That would probably come with the F-15C Late you’re looking for since it’s the last patch before 2026 and they said they’re adding AESAs to every tree by this year if I remember right.
From what i’ve seen how Gaijin has neutered the C-5, we’re only missing out on the cool look of the clipped wings (imo).

the pod on the bottom of the nose contains a IRST/camera system for long range identification effectively snaking around the poor RoEs in Vietnam and stuff, although not from Vietnam it was a way around the same RoEs that got pilots shot down due to not being able to use their range advantage with the sparrows, due to IFF still being in its early stages and not being reliable
I know about TCS and IRST. But I don’t think that IRST can give image on MFD. And TCS don’t have IR channel.

As long as they are integrated the same way it don’t see why not. I’m not well versed in those systems though. I just know the IRST on the F-14D can per pilot testimony and the manual.
