That new M60 premium is pretty good too.

Pretty much, just some visual decorators and some decals on the skin itself.
It’s just a RISE, not bad of course but also hardly anything too special for it’s BR.

Both of these have nothing extraordinary to go up.
Especially T-55A, which is very close to stats to M60A1 AOS (AOS overall having more trolly armor towards it’s gun - it’s a black hole). The speed is the same, reverse is about the same, stabilization as well, rounds performance is a bit different.
However M60A1 AOS at the same time is better than T-55A with reload, coincedence rangefinder, depression, ability to turn on spot.
T-55A has better side armor and smaller profile, as well as slightly more reliable shell damage wise)
They both make sense at 8.3 as early (although wouldnt call AOS early when it came 10+ years after T-55) vehicles with stabilizers.
If anything I would move down T-62 to 8.3 since it has nothing over T-55A (it’s actually just slower reload and slower T-55A without any APHE).
Shilka itself is kinda meh, the only good thing about it is the upgraded missiles (what is weird about it is you start with 1971 9M39 missile and move up to 2001 missile but anything with Stinger starts with 1995 version and ends at 2023 version). Nothing else is basically changed, you’re just the same 8.0 Shilka

first the t55 gets APFSDS, this is something the m60a1 AOS does not, its kinda important in terms of angle preformance and shell shatters. the neutral steering and depression does not make up for it. it gets a combination of alright armour, good shells and a stabilizer that really no other vehicle at 8.3 gets, the tanks with stabilizers either dont get armour of APFSDS. and the ZSU 23 M4, the missiles are irccm, 12 G’s and it wrecks all cas in a downtier and even normally, not really that much worse than the mistral sidam at 9.7
Leopard A1A1 gets superior APFSDS, acceleration, reverse, reload, gun depression, turret traverse rate, stabilization, etc. and is 8.7.
The T-55A has no armour, everything in this BR range lolpens it.

forgot to mention they have no proxy and are easily dodged
3bm25 is one of worst apfsds shells. Loses more pen against angled armor than m60a1 apds let alone m60a1 heat and m111 apfsds which can be found on SAR centurion at 8.3 with laser rangefinder btw.
Also shilka missile seeker is caged, it will lose all that overload and fail vs closer targets flying perpendicularly while in case of stinger or other manpads you can lock and then send missile with some lead so it doesnt struggle that much.

Majority of your enemies wont be on gepards tho. And if you are aware about gepard in m60, it will struggle just as much because you will one tap it before it even tries to reach your cupola. If you arent, gepard wont struggle even if you will be in t55. It will strip your barrel and nuke you through special side weak zone (which can be penned by 20mm) with aphe or just use apds on entire side.
it is an exaple, an M60 is more vulnereable to a 35mm spaa because of the giga cupola, a gepard will nuke you the same way in a M60.
