Good think the cent 1 is volumetric all over the turret except the roof.
Also the Kv-220’s biggest weakness is the 90mm gun mantle. Most other tanks don’t generally suffer this problem, but in order to shoot an enemy you have to expose a spot that will either cripple or kill you.
You have significantly less matches than me, and I can’t even see your profile on stat shark which is funny.
Reason it matters is I have 18k games, and am very good at the game.
So when I make educated and statistical choices on which things should get x buff/ nerf or so on, I’m doing it from a position of wisdom.
In the other hand, you want to nerf things due to a hatred for them.
Your opinion on a vehicle as an objectively strong player does not reflect the experience of most other players. Trickle down balancing does not work. Like I’m sorry but top players in low tier have less valuable opinions on balance in low tier than average players precisely because the “objective reasoning” does not reflect the experience of gameplay when most of your opponents are nowhere near as competent as you.
If armor is the only argument, then it sits well. At 8.3, there is HEAT (primarily) and APDS that completely compromise the armor, and it’s slow as hell. I’m asking for the KV-1E to be raised slightly so others can have a fighting chance, and the KV-1E’s cannon isn’t even the worst, it still has a (just barely) a chance to pen enemy armor. The KV-1E isn’t even slower than the KV-1 (ZiS-5) with only 10mm less of pen and has better armor, but still sits at a lower BR. And who said I’m only saying 5.0? 4.7 is still an agreeable BR for it, and might even be better.
And respectfully, not everything revolves around you. Everyone has different experiences in the game and different opinions, and low tier functions much more differently then top tier. I’m pretty sure a man with “so much wisdom” would know that.
I’m never claiming to be an actually good player, and I will fully admit that my stats in the VII are a lot higher than in other vehicles, but the VII is still a Churchill. The KV-1 is comically favored in the 1v1, you just straight up cannot play on certain maps because the 75 is god awful at sniping, you’re VERY easy to outmaneuver, pretty much anything can hit the roof weakspot (which is becoming very common knowledge) and people have started going for the volumetric hell of the MG Port weakspot. Don’t get me wrong, the tank is VERY good now and is way better than it was before, but this is genuinely just a case of War Thunder players not knowing how to kill a churchill and I fully believe the stats will normalize over time. If I’m wrong and it’s still insane in a few months, then I’m wrong and I’ll eat my words, but the 75 is still a mid gun, the maps you see are getting larger, and you’re going to see things you just can’t really do anything to other than CBT (which is actually way easier for them to do to you). Also like, the Panther is your dad and will send you to your room (the respawn screen).
I never denied that, it’s still not a fun gameplay dynamic. Also did you know that the Centurion Mark 1 is the only Centurion where the primary ammo rack isn’t right next to the driver?
In statistics we remove the statistical outliers - because the gsme is balanced around the AVERAGE player experience. So they realistically should either A. Ignore the opinions of the top and lowest skilled players/and not include their stats in vehicle over all stats
Or
B. Use a weighted system that reduces the weight of the top and bottom players impact on averaging.
It’s crazy that “i am a good player so I have more wisdom and therefore can speal better than what the average player experience is”.
If you read my comment correctly, you would realise that I said that uptiering the KV-1E isn’t possible right now, and shouldn’t be encouraged without a more comprehensive BR decompression
Is it weak in an uptier? Sure
Is it still absolutely dominating in a downtier? Absolutely
Source: I have the entire Soviet OP 4.3 lineup (including KV-7), and I readily use it to complete tasks that are otherwise too frustrating to achieve
