Well yeah I like both, I tend to swap between first spawn depending on maps with the 220
That’s the problem. It’s a 6.0 that can see 6.7, and 7.0 tanks 6.7 and 7.0 is extremely popular, and has very good tanks.
Meaning despite only having say the KV-220 in your lineup, your most likely to be in a 6.7 game… with a cannon that is found on 4.7/5.0 TD’s and 5.7 medium tanks.
that cannon cannot fire BR-367 otherwise I would’ve suggested that. The most logical course, is to:
- Buff the reload
- Make it 5.7
And why I prefer the Panther over the KV-220 is one simple thing. Firepower. I have to pixel hunt due to the lack of mobility with the KV-220, but not a Panther, it’s round kill / penetrates more reliably.
Secondary factors only glorify the TV more, all for lack of armor.
I don’t play based on what map. I get in a game, and I play the tank I want to play, rain or shine.
Eh, I like to use tanks when I see the potential for a very ez first spawn 10 kill game. Especially when grinding kill wagers for gambling with SL Crates
Pro tip:
If you want SL, play realistic naval in a premium vessel. Rank III and above all make the same SL amount, so you can play whatever ship type you want and profit.
Secondly, nah, I let the battle take me where it’s going to.
I genuinely hate spawn camping so much that even if the entire enemy team is gone I’ll usually hang around the caps, unless someone from their spawn fire at me, then I’ll shoot back.

Yea and my IS4 can see 8.7 games with a 5.3 gun

yea that’s a universal problem its called uptiers, and when its 5.0 its invincible
Meaning despite only having say the KV-220 in your lineup
why? that’s your problem the ZSU, SU100 and 2S1 are good, and if it goes in 6.3 it will have all the 6.3 tanks so it wont be alone
You missed my point, about only have a kv-220, ofc I bring other vehicles.
Also, yes all vehicles suffer from uptiers, but most can manage them usually. T29 is a great example, as even in full uptiers it does good.
Typically in full uptiers it’s mainly the Soviet heavies that suffer. Am I incorrect?

yea because it has a good gun that can pen everything, but still doesn’t have good armor or reload

i am a soviet main you don’t have to say it to me
Still if it goes to 5.7 and gets a buff the k/d will go to 5.0
Yeah or I could just bully people in tanks
No no, it wouldn’t get both a buff and a br change.
It’s either or.
It either gets:
A reload buff
Or
A br buff
If they could limit what it gets uptiered too, and made it max at 6.7 that would be okay I guess…
I prefer to shoot the bullies into submission. :D
BT-5
-
Arcade Battle BR: 1.0 → 1.3
-
Realistic Battle BR: 1.0 → 1.3
-
Reload Speed: 2.9 s → 4.0 s (also affects RBT-5)

Rationale
The BT-5 is competing for the title of best reserve tank (British reserves might slightly better overall). The 45 mm 20-K gun however, is easily the best gun at 1.0 due to the combination of good penetration, good post-pen damage, and fire rate. Something has to give.
The in-game BT-5 seems to be visually based off an early-mid production BT-5, which means there is a way to historically nerf it to bring it more in line with other vehicles.
Most BT-5’s used the 45 mm 20-K Model 1932, which did not have a proper semi-automatic breech, or at least not in practice with all common ammunition types. It wasn’t until the Model 1934 gun that they seemed to have mostly resolved this issue, but these were only mounted on the late production BT-5’s. This is a similar case to the M13/40 (I), which has lower RoF than the M13/40 (II) & (III) due to the lack of a semi-automatic breech. It would therefore make sense to bring the BT-5’s fire rate in-line with M13/40 (I)’s, at 4 seconds aced.
Despite the reload nerf and BR increase, the BT-5 would remain fairly competitive since it is still very good mobile and has plenty adequate penetration and damage. USSR only has two 1.3 TT vehicles at the moment, so the BT-5 is already routinely uptiered to 1.3 anyways, and the RBT-5 is also already 1.3 despite the only difference being two very hard to aim rockets. This nerf will not actually be too impactful apart from giving the less competitive1.0 vehicles a bit of breathing room.
The BT-2 would be a more appropriate vehicle for 1.0. It’s even faster than the BT-7M, but has a much more appropriate gun for 1.0.
BT-7
-
Arcade Battle BR: 1.3 → 1.7
-
Realistic Battle BR: 1.3 → 1.7
-
Reload Speed: 2.9 s → 3.1 s

Rationale
By nerfing the BT-5’s rate of fire, the BT-7 now has a more notable advantage over its predecessor, which makes a difference in BR more logical. The BT-7 variant modeled in-game should have Model 1934 gun with a semi-automatic breech afaik, but the reload is still a bit excessive at the moment, allowing it to out-trade many 37 mm-armed vehicles. While it should still have a decent reload given the size of ammunition and its placement, it should not be able to outtrade so many tanks with smaller guns.
The BT-7 should have no real issue at 1.7. The gun is still more than capable enough of handling most tanks, and the mobility is still impressive.
BT-7M
-
Rank: Rank I → Rank II
-
Arcade Battle BR: 2.0 → 2.3
-
Realistic Battle BR: 2.0 → 2.3
-
Reload Speed: 2.9 s → 3.1 s
-
Add BR-240P (APCR)
-
Add O-240 (HE)
-
Add Scouting

Rationale
The improved top speed of the BT-7M makes this a pretty big step up from the previous BT’s since it can fully take advantage of its insane p/w. In its current state, it’s massive missed potential that it has all that mobility, but can’t be used as a scout vehicle. Moving it up to rank II would allow for it to fill the conventional scout niche, considering the T-50 is acting as more of a pseudo-medium.
As the latest BT variant, that did see service even fairly late into the war, it should have access to some of the better rounds other rank II vehicles get.
May I make a suggestion?
Instead of nerfing both reload and br. Do one at a time. It’s better balancing
You mean bots? That’s like 90% of naval… unfortunately
Depends on the br. Naval blue water still makes bank with bots since they count as players
I make like 600k a match
Yeah I play coastal which is 90% getting bullied by Bluewater lol
Costal makes far less anyways. Not suggested at all
dude you can 0.50cal them they just have good mobility
I’m pretty sure 7.62 can go through the turret ring if I recall
I don’t think I’ve seen like anyone ever use their 7.62 for micro shots unless it’s an open top. Also turret ring? Their turrets basically cover that and even on the most thin model you need a 50. Besides the turret armor on the BT-5 and 7 is 15 to 16mm with 13mm in one spot which won’t let rounds in.
